- Montage of the final edition of the BBC's Breakfast programme from Studio 7 at TV Centre in London.
The programme came from it's 'weekend home' in the News Studio N6 before transferring to the new BBC North complex at Salford Quays on 10/04/12.
The Director and studio staff had some fun with shots of the coffee mugs and other studio equipment leading into/out of the regional opt-outs: together with a very nice ending as the camera left the studio.

This was a nice ending to TC7 broadcasting BBC Breakfast
I remember watching BBC Breakfast before I went to work every Weekday morning and when it was live from TC7
The end of an era. Well finished with door closing.
I just loved how one of the cameramen waved at the camera where we are
see now this how you leave a studio (/builidng), not just bye and credits, this!
Breakfast is awesome and a great way to kick start your morning

BBC Breakfast is still there . . with 1.5m viewers a day, they just don't use the same studio . . . they moved to Salford (BBC North).
They still have the highest viewing figures in the UK for that time of day. The nearest competitor gets 0.6m.
+OscarPlymouth BBC Breakfast shares the same studio as our regional news North West Tonight. I'm not sure how they do the North West opt-outs in the mornings

They said STUDIO, and not BREAKFAST. Did you see it until the end? They actually moved their STUDIO to Salford. This was the last edition of BBC Breakfast on Studio 7 of the BBC Television Center, before moving their studio to Salford. Also, on the first edition of BBC Breakfast in the new studio, they made some changes in the intro, which means, they improved the waves around the globe. But the audio didn't change.

i don't know why they didn't say anything like: "and it's also time to say goodbye to this studio". Also, bbc breakfast isn't GONE, it's just moved to a new studio, that's all.
Odd to think that the studio is now flats. I wonder if you could pinpont which one contains the area of the desk!

+Jack Sugden when breakfast moved to Salford they shared the same studio as North West Tonight. But I'm not sure how they do the breakfast North West Today opt-outs

Wow we are moving from studio TC7 to a new TV studio

O Thompson They moved from London to Manchester; that's about 250 miles away - bit further than just a new studio.
Well the BBC was first in the BBC Television Centre, which is now in use with Good Morning Britain on ITV (i think). Then BBC moved to The Broadcasting house in Central London, and today they also have studios in MediaCity, Salford Quays.

Bbc news on Friday night as well and thanks for the rest of the week so I'll have to wait until the next one though and I'll probably be back next Tuesday and Tuesday and Tuesday would be best if that's OK with you for the last few years and have been working on the same for the rest of the week for the rest of the week for the last few years and have a couple thoughts
