I can't believe its been a year. Purin Chan will always have a special place in my heart for being one of the vex legends. I hope your doing well in VRC.
Thank you so much!!! My VRC season had been amazing đ€©, currently working on our worlds robot âš.
Thank you for your support, it really helps me gain confidence đȘ
Good job 6699B :) you guys have done so well this season
Thank you so much :D
It was hard during the development process. I am happy that our robot pulled off nicely and improved a lot :) Thank you for watching my videos.
Wow, so fast the shooting speed! Fast AND accurate! You must spent a lot of time fine-tuning it.
Of course, its a long process :)
Time to âtake inspirationâ! That blue dispenser mech is awesome!
Thank you :) Of course, please "Take some Inspiration" lmao
Is the blue dispenser a passive mech?
@@wyattdray3928 Yes, it is.
@@wyattdray3928 yeah I tried making one but my robot didnât have enough torque on the drivetrain
All of the robots were starting to look the same. Now Iâm excited to see all of the robots start to look like this đđ so impressive. great job!
Definitely the coolest robot ive seen this season
Itâll be fun to see what yâall can do if/when you move on to VRC. This is an amazing bot for VEX IQ, and yâall should be proud
Thank you :)
So cool
Very impressive 6699B. That yellow dispenser mechanism is very innovative.
Thank you :)
This is a great robot! Love the way you improved! Our robot is not so great, but we are improving, and this season has been fun, even if we donât make it to worlds
That is so nice to hear!! Trying to improve your own robot is the best!! I think the ability to find out problems and solve them accordingly while improving the robot is always more valuable than a good score. :)
Thank you for supporting and watching my videos :D
LETS GOOOOOO
Nice
Sad you guys won't be at worlds this year. Best of support for your teams future ventures.
Thank you for your support :D
What? Why are you guys not going to worlds?
@@justinye6011 I have a test overlapping the date of worlds. Even though we are not going, this season has been very fun :)
Yea baby
Time to copy, Iâm building a conveyor now.
It is better to say "Take inspiration", rather than copy lol. Looking forward to see your conveyor bot :)
Itâs funny. A week before this video came out, I had basically the same idea with the conveyor and puncher lol
@@Asian_Sensation1 Nice
Doesn't your bot rn score higher than this?
Nice, congrats on skills 431 points :)
Thanks :) Good luck in Worlds :D
You guys have had great robots this season. I'm very impressed at every one of them I look at. I look forward to seeing you at Worlds.
Thank you very much!!
Unfortunately, our team won't be going to worlds even though we got qualified due to some plans during that time. Good luck in worlds! You can go see the other 6699 teams at the pit btw.
@@PurinChan sorry to hear that. Still did an amazing job this year, and to think I thought a round with 95 points was good.
@@PopeWiggles Thank you so much for watching my videos and your support :)
@PurinChan Me or anyone would be a fool if we said we werenât impressed, you guys earned a subscribe
Looks good. We have tried a similar idea and we are happy
Thank you :)
HOW DID YOU DO THAT?!?!?!?!
I really canât figure out how to stop the pucks from flipping and jamming the kickers
this is insane
I wanted to ask how you make the drive base for your robots so sturdy. The drive bases I make are tilted because there the motors are in the middle and have a lot of weight
To solve the problem of weight in the middle, we basically connect beams between two sides of the chassis. Connecting two sides can make the chassis sturdy. Hope this helps!
@@PurinChan weâre doing the same thing but the motors still are flopping down. Do the amount of pins matter when connecting motors perhaps?
@@velocity6867use loads of pins and use motor caps to increase stability
Thanks for showing this wonderful robot! I wonder how you block the discs to slide down at the beginning? Thanks!
By beginning, do you mean the front of the conveyor belt or is it back where the shooter is located?
Front of the conveyor belt, thanks!
@@yongcui1308 We have a plate Infront of the conveyor belt, while there are pins sticking in to prevent the discs from falling down.
Got you! Thanks very much!
Would you have a 3D model of this prototype? Very good robot!
We don't usually draw cad files for our robot, but we may try for this generation robot. However, that reveal would be at the end of the season :)
Thank you very much :D
Quick question! how do you make the shooter, not jam when there are many discs in it? our puncher has decided to die when there are like 10+ discs in the magazine (this is a new issue) Thanks!
Hey if you could explain the blue dispenser mech that would be amazing! It looks cool!
The blue mechanism doesn't require any motor, the L piece in the front is the main object that triggers and dumps the discs.
When the short side of the L piece touches the shaft inside the blue dispenser, the long side raises. This isn't a complicated structure, so it may be easier for you to make one and you'll probably understand better :)
@@PurinChan Thank you! Hope to see yâall at worlds!
@@PurinChanitâs tension based for raising the blue right
Hey I am really curious about your yellow can you please explain how you collect it
The yellow mechanism works very similarly to the blue one. Both using the L piece. When the structure goes into the yellow dispenser, the short side of the L piece bumps into the grey part of the dispenser, making the longer part raise up and retrieve the discs.
@@PurinChan do you use rubber bands just like the blue or is it just there
@@aryamansingh3606 There is a rubber band for pulling the whole yellow structure up when finished with the yellow dispenser mission. However, there are no rubber bands used for the yellow retriever itself.
Additionally, the blue dispenser's rubberband is for pulling the L piece down after using, so it wouldn't be rising after one use.
@@PurinChanohh thanks so much and I must say that this robot is the best Iâve seen you must have put a lot a thought to it
@@aryamansingh3606 Thank you very much :)
Great robot! But i'm wordering what mechanism do you use to shoot? Do you use a 2 by beam pulled back to shoot or is it something else?
Also how did you distribute the motors?
If you go to his past videos I think his 3rd Gen bot or 2nd you can see his shooter
sorry for another question, how you do to prevent the discs slide out at the bottom where the shooter located? Appreciated all helps!
can you show us some teamwork matches if you have one
Sure, the video is coming up soon :)
Amazing. How does your shooter allow the pucks to stack completely flat while still allowing the shooter to hit the pucks? I've never seen your puncher.
Usually, if there is a tube to hold the stack of discs it can do these two jobs.
@@PurinChan How big is your puncher? Do the pucks stack on top of the puncher?
@@HL886 Yes, the discs stack on the L piece of the puncher before it gets shot out. The puncher is not very big, about 1/3 of the whole robot.
How does the ratchet from the shooter to purple work? I have experience with them in VRC but have never seen one used in VIQ
In simple words, the shooter spins when the motor spins one way, when the motor spins another way, the purple spins and the shooter stops.
This can help them share the same motors :)
@@PurinChan How does the mechanism work? Or is that a team secret :).
@@coleuhlig3266 It is still a secret for now ;)
When I do shotgun, my stack jams half the time and I can't shoot. How do you make your stacks not jam?
The main point to avoid jamming is how the discs fall into the tubes. For example, we are currently using a conveyor belt, and we tried not to make the discs fall straight. If the discs fall straight into the tube, the chance of it getting back is impossible, but if you minimize the chance or make the discs fall only a little tilted, it might solve the problem.
Btw, we still have the problem of discs jamming but seldomly.
Another thing is, the discs often get jammed when more than one discs fall down at the same time. That is why we added a standoff at the end of the tread, this can only let one disc pass at one time.
how do u split your motors for the different mechanisms?
Sorry Just out of curiosity what do you motor share yellow with?
The conveyor belt is used for holding down the yellow dispenser.
what about ur flywheel robot?
We don't have a flywheel, we used a shooter robot and improved it through out this season.
Shooter reveal next pls
The next one is WORLD RANK 1 reveal :)
âczcams.com/video/CK84ijKNuxY/video.html
Shooter Reveal will surely be uploaded, but not now :)
Ok
Is your shooter the same mechanism as the previous generations?
Yes, they are using the same mechanism. Just a little different on the overall look.
Do you guys use a beam for your puncher or a kicking mechanism that uses L pieces.
We use the one that uses the L piece :)
Thx. Also how do you guys power your dispenser mechanism? Do you motor share with another mechanism?
@@akkhanna1255 For yellow dispenser, no motor is used, the tread motor is used to hold the structure down.
For the blue dispenser, no motor is used for the structure. However, one motor is used there to raise the arm, and the motor is also used for triggering the expansion.
Thx
Is the blue dispenser mechanism a passive mech? If so, how does it work?
The blue mechanism doesn't require any motor, the L piece in the front is the main object that triggers and dumps the discs.
When the short side of the L piece touches the shaft inside the blue dispenser, the long side raises. This isn't a complicated structure, so it may be easier for you to make one and you'll probably understand better :)
I just found a video of almost the exact same mech; czcams.com/users/shortsZ7lVc_TrMs8?feature=share
@@wyattdray3928 Yes, the mechanism is similar.
how does your shooter work
Does your yellow connect to the conveyor to allow it to fold?
Yes, the conveyor can hold down the yellow before the match, and it can fold after use, but it cannot be held down again during the match.
@Purin Chan That makes sense, how you connect the shooter and conveyor?
@@JoeMama-cp8on They don't connect to each other (doesn't share a motor or having anything triggering)
â@@PurinChan Oh wait it's the roller how do those connect? Sorry we're trying to make a mechanism for eveything but we're running out of motors since our shooter already uses 2 motors
@@JoeMama-cp8on We shared the motors for both the shooter and the roller, but it is kind of a team secret for now. ;)
Are you guys elm or middle

Hi,
What tension did you use for shooter
Please
As we tried 1.5;1 gear ratio for the shooter, but there was not enough torque
o ye do u got discord?
