Sepse pa arvanitet, greket ka me u pas shum probleme. Për at agjentet greket kan vrar ki Aristidh Kola kur ato ishin tu pa qe ki asht duke ba fuqishem për me bashku për arvanitet me shqiptart. Ne kofse se na ja shpejgojm qe arvanitet jan shqiptaret, greket bajn me buzqeshur por mbrenda e tyre jan nervoz.
Po shume e vertet, fjal me vend. Ata admirojn heronjte arvanitas, kostumografin, vallet, kenget e vjetra arvanitase, kercejn kendojn e qajne me to, sepse i ndjejne, seose ai eshte tabani.Sigurisht smund te mohohet qe ka dhe komunitete te tjera, Ata kan qen atje prej shekujsh, kan ardhur aty, kan jetuar me ta, kan bere luftra me ta, per ato teritore, me pas kan bashkejetuar me ta ne cdo periull e kohe, mos harojme dhe emigrimet, pasi emigracionet e popullsis per kushte me te mira jetese, nga lutrat apo arsye te tjera, kan ndodhur qe nga periudhat e antikitetit, mesjet e sot e do te vazhdojne derisa njerezimi te ekzistoj.Po problemi nuk eshte vetem ky, por i mitit te krijuar mbi Greqin, qe per te ulur shkelqimin, lavdin e nje perandirie apo nje tjetreje lartesuan historin e vjeter qe me te drejte u ka dhen shume njerezimit, por mbi kuriz te nje populli duke e percare, krijuar urejtje e vllavrasje. Dhe tjetra synimet teritorjale qe ata kan patur gjithmon kundrejt teritoreve shqiptare, te le te dyshosh qe kjo minorance eshte vecse 20%.jo kursesi smund te jet kaq kur shovinizmi, per spastrimin e trojeve shqiptare ne Greqi nga shqiptaret e krahinave atje ka qen shume i ashper.

They identify with Greek nation because they founded modern Greece. They fought for freedom and their fathers created modern Greece. Obviously they will identify with that.

@@marcoluppo5783 I'm sorry to disappoint you, but the propganda you've been "fed" by Albanian nationalst "historians" is simply untrue, since most Greek national heroes from the Greek war of independence were non-Arvanites. The most important and influential political leaders of the revolution such as Ypsilantis, Mavrokordatos and Kapodistrias were not Arvanites. The most important warlords and warriors were also mostly non-Arvanites Greeks, such as Kolokotronis, Karaiskakis, Kanaris, Papaflessas and Makrygiannis.
In fact according to various researches only the 10-20% out of the 30.000 recorded surnames that participated in the revolution, indicated BILINGUAL Arvanites. The rest 80-90% were Greek speakers from the Peloponnese, Central Greece, the Aegean islands, Smyrni Khalkidhiki/South Macedonia and Crete, Greek volunteers from the British occupied Ionian islands, and around a thousand Philhellenes from the rest of Europe.
NONE OF THE LEADERS THAT ORGANIZED THE GREEK REVOLUTION WERE ARVANITES AND MOST WARLORDS AND WARRIORS THAT FOUGHT WERE ALSO NOT ARVANITES. NOT THAT IT WOULD MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE IF WHAT YOU WROTE WAS TRUE, SINCE THE ARVANITES SELF-IDENTIFIED AS GREEKS, GAVE THEIR LIVES FOR GREECE AND HATED MUSLIM ALBANIANS. BUT IT'S SIMPLY NOT TRUE...

The state of Albania didn't exist, Albanians were split in many religions and who do you think these Arvanites would identify with? Naturally with the new state which was against Turkey. They were liders of this state, why would they be against it? Ethnicity wasn't a big thing those times and it was easy for them to identify with this new state which was purely a religious Christian state created as opposed to Muslim Turkey.
But, the fact you can't change in anyway, is that Arvanites are Albanians. Forget the crap " that the Arvanites were Greeks but they could speak Albanian as well as they learnt it through the Albanians". Only the Greeks believe this stupidity and no schoolchild anywhere in the world would believe that.
Modern Greek language or Koine was the international language of Roman Eastern Empire or the Bizantium, just like English today.
The fact that we are talking in English doesn't mean that I'm English. So, whoever spoke " Greek" didn't mean they were Greek.
On the contrary, whoever spoke Albanian it means that was their mother's tongue. Albanian language was the the only one forbidden to be written and spoken by the Ottomans, Serbian and Greek Churches. There were not even schools in Albanians. Albanian was not an International language, so nobody needed to learn the language , so whoever spoke Albanian was purely Albanian native, learning the language from their mother's and this is OUT OF DISCUSSION...
While the "Greek" ethnicity is much in debate, there wouldn't be a discussion at all about the Albanian ethnicity.
According to one French General who knew the Balkans well, he wrote" Albanians are the biggest nation in Balkan. If these people could join each other's they would have so much power. "
"Perca e sundo" in Albanian or in English " Split and Rule" is an expression which unfortunately fits the Albanians very well.
Religion and independent, individualistic nature of the Albanians have been always the biggest curse for the Albanian nation. Albanians as individuals shine a lot, they are strong, tough and courageous in front of any difficult situation. The problem is - Albanians don't like to be ruled by anyone, literally ANYONE....... They were always free and tribal people with so much emphasis to their own families. The concept of the state or the nation didnt exist at all to them. No wonder Albanians never had Kings or Dynasties... Only Scanderbeg managed to join the Albanians together in the war against the Ottomans and they were invincible . As soon as he died, no other charismatic lider would replace him and Ottomans finally managed to invade them. Still, Albania was never ruled by Turks themselves, there were always Albanians warlords "ruling" them on the behalf of Ottoman Empire. Ottomans found it unabled to rule the " disobedient Albanians " so they learnt that they were better governed if they were ruled by their compatriots and let them in semi independent state to govern themselves. Highlander Albanians were governed by nobody other than themselves. Albania is the only country under Ottoman Empire without a Turkish minority.
Albanians are invincible when they decide to join each other's. History has proven it many times. They are born fighters...
As Albanians respond to the Serbs who claim that Serbia is a big state "we may have a small state but we are a massive nation".
If you check Serbian, Montenegrin surnames they are all Albanians with an added " vic". That shows how many fake states are created in Balkans with Albanian population( including Greece)...
