+MM 1992 I don't really think that's true, either. Maybe sometimes that happens, but his backlash really just comes from his bad superhero roles, as far as I remember. If I'm wrong, I'm glad to be, because I have yet to catch up on those superhero roles, aside from Green Lantern. That, I dread, and if that's not the reason, then I don't want to find out.

But he's not just a comedy, there is a serious and sensitive person behind it that he doesn't really show to public. Hence why his relationship with Blake is very solid. His comedic nature is what makes him very attractive.
In an encounter, Gosling would make you giggle at his dry humour and his contagious laughter and go 'awww' with his politeness. While Reynolds would make you feel like you're his friend and you would laugh a lot and forget that he's a celebrity.
