I like how Jerian’s setup isn’t too over the top, looks like a normal person’s setup who just happens to be a big content creator. Sure there’s improvement that could be made, but it’s very solid

Jerian bought the monitor when 360 hertz monitors just hit the market. He did it to test how it felt in Fortnite. If I remember correctly, he asked the community if they'd like to see him purchase one for a video. So it kind of was for the content, especially since he only used it for the one vid and has reverted back to the 240 since then.

In the nickeh30 build Fortnite isn't very hardware heavy. The 3080 encoder was so much better than the 2080ti. And 2080ti is perfectly fine for running Fortnite. He probably hits 200 plus fps so no need to change. It's not a terrible idea to prioritize stream quality especially when the content is light on hardware.

when you said that jerian was watching the wrong guy for cable management, aka lough, he was talking about one of the people that went on to setup wars a while ago and he also popped up on fleas video (in the watch next section) but his setup has been completely redone and he moved into a house so i would recommend you check him out for the next episode he has a crazy setup.

My best guess as to why that first streamer has the 3080 in his streaming PC will be something due to the fact that it has double the cuda cores, he might get higher quality & faster Nvenc encoding compared to the 2080ti? Honestly I doubt it would make much difference since it's dedicated to streaming, but that's the only reason I could think of.

Those controls that have backpedpedals so you can you don’t have to move your fingers up for you can just keep your fingers on the joysticks and it really helps phase flea has a custom scuff controller which has back pedals

Some are posted on their individual channels like Miniminter but also some are posted on Konstantins channel where he sets it up for them in one video and gets their reaction in another. He focuses on cable management and utilizing gear for a minimalist look without sacrificing function.

I’ve thought about getting a cover for your keyboard, but it’s hard to find because the type of covers I find are for the 85% type of keyboards or school keyboards
The thing with the steelseries headset is the battery is user replaceable and therfore futureproof. 99% of wireless headphones have non user replacable batteries and will eventually die which happened to my g930 headset
Prabhat dhamecha has one of the best budget builds you should consider checking him out. It is not the neatest one but yea in terms of streaming and recording videos it's great.
