Yes, do it ! Honestly I’m getting so much brown lately and loving it. Still goes well with most of the stuff in my wardrobe. Easy colour to wear.
I also wear all black. There’s something about grey that i dont feel like myself when im putting an outfit together. But I think brown is much more approachable to me.
I used to wear all black then realized it made me look like a makeup artist or something. Now brown, navy, taupes to balance out the black
The black coat is amazing yoh can use it for dressing up and use the brown for more casual.

The jumbo tatlin coat is my all time fav coat. I have 4 of them one from geth 2 from fogachine and one from edfu. I wear it every other day and it really is my everyday coat/blazer. I find it works for everything for me at least.
I do think that when you are buying clothes for your dream wardrobe versatility is something you should consider although that’s not the most exciting . A lot of my grail item I have in my wardrobe unfortunately are the pieces I don’t wear that often because of how hard it is to wear or make outfits. A good balance I think.
You are stacked my friend. Yh, i was having a hard time styling the suiting one tbh. Found it only looked good with specific pieces. This brown one though is perfect, I’ve already been getting much more wear out of it.
Personally, I need to always considered versatility within my wardrobe. Of course, there are some statement pieces but on certain items that I spend a bit on, I need to be able to wear them with various other pieces in my wardrobe. It’s like a challenge to me. How do I style a Rick piece without having to wear full Rick. Agree on creating a good balance.

I don’t like Rick at all. It’s almost too full of itself. I feel that the ppl wearing him are try hards, braggarts, and show offs rather than people who are very stylish. They’re more about the name brand and showing it off. They’re the type to wear some expensive piece just for a photo opportunity but not in their day to day life which makes sense because a majority of his items are completely impractical for almost every occasion… not for me, but I will say the structure of the coat is interesting architecturally…
Style is very subjective. Someone can wear designer and be very stylish whilst another person could solely thrift and attain that same result. It all depends on what you like, how you want to express yourself and most importantly, spend your money. So yes, as you mentioned “you feel like” , that feeling is just a personal opinion, it’s not a valid point or well thought out critic. Just saying you don’t like a brand and everyone that wears it isn’t stylish is ludicrous and child behaviour like.
@@gregntore Of course style is subjective. Of course someone can wear designer and be stylish. I do it all the time. But, I'm not talking about all designer, I'm talking about Rick specifically. And yes, I said "I feel like" because it's my personal opinion, just like it's your personal opinion that it's great. When you post something online, not all the comments will be fawning over you.
Unfortunately, you can't say my opinion isn't valid simply because you don't agree. That's not how validity works on a subjective topic. Now, if I had said Rick Owens was objectively bad across the board, that wouldn't be valid. My comment was certainly well thought out enough. Nothing childish about listing some reasons a brand doesn't appeal to you. Do you think fashion critics are childish, too? I never said "everyone who wears Rick isn't stylish." I said they seem more like try-hards rather than very stylish. One more than the other, not one completely at the expense of the other. They aren't mutually exclusive.
Let's review the objective points, shall we? Rick owens is costume-esque. Odd, bulky, obtuse, overly large, overly long, overpriced, impractical, uncomfortable-looking, and lumpy. Being stylish transcends time, being fashionable/trendy does not. Rick falls into the latter imo. The people I see wearing him are usually wearing him for shock factor rather than style. They'll wear him head to toe for clout which betrays a lack of creativity. The goal is to be seen wearing Rick rather than creating an organic point of view. Similar to the tacky way people used to wear logos from gucci/fendi/etc head to toe in order to impress people as a walking advertisement.
My critique was about the clothes, not you specifically. What's childish is becoming defensive because someone doesn't like a fashion brand you're into, rather than engaging in a dialogue or asking questions. Hopefully that was "well thought out" enough for you...
This is much better, you’re explaining and actually elaborating . Using words like I think is way more respectful than generalizing, just cause of how you feel. I think if you’re gonna take the time to comment on a video, you have to be more elaborated like you just did here, it’s way more valid than blasting a few personal opinions. Way more context, way more reasons as to why you think what you think. It’s still a personal opinion but a much better critic, which people can agree with or disagree with. Your first comment was just making sure to let everyone know that all Rick boys are cloud chasers and can’t dress. But yh; Always welcome to state your opinion , just be more thought out.
