Because it actually is! Is the actual warzone game from PC ported to mobile but just with a couple of downgraded for mobile play. It said it on its official Twitter and that's the reason why it's been so hard for mobile devices playing warzone because it was never meant for phone.
FYI incase this guy or anyone don’t know, You can turn off the on screen buttons in controller settings and go to sets and slide to far right when it says controller default. It took me awhile to find that, but did and is even better when using controller.
I figured it out by now lol if you watch the more recent vids I’m on default controller preset for the hud. Whole lot cleaner. Appreciate you for looking out though 🤞🏽

If you hold the logo button and press up or down on the dpad it should act as a volume slider.

the only missing feature from gamesir 8 is the lack of fan or at least decent air flow for the back of the phone. it running very hot for my iPhone 15 naked without case as it is, let alone cover it with the controller.. any recommend gamesir/backbone like controller but with fan? or at least compatible with magsafe fan? thanks!

First 3 days was good no heating problem but full of bugs like shop station is invisible, stucking after using zip line. Audio is horrible. But after this new update phone started heating up crazy after playing 4 match app closing still Audio is so horrible.

Plug n play. The controller is recognized by the game and the phone.

I chose the gamesir over the backbone because it seemed more comfortable. Might get a backbone as well just for comparison but I really like the G8 so far.

Im having trouble mapping my Gamesir controller (same model) how did you get round this?
I believe I held M and the back paddle and then pressed what button I wanted mapped to it 🤔 I need the device in front of me to actually confirm this. Might be back with a better answer. (At work rn) lol
The problem comes with overheating, there's no heat dissipation with that gamepad

I ordered the same controller just for this game but the app for the controller does not recognize it so I can’t do any button mapping so it’s going back. I love the feel of the controller but I want to be able to use the buttons on the back of the controller

I play fortnite and warzone mobile for clarification lol. Just looking for that " real controller feel.
The G8 thumbsticks are like normal thumbsticks which is a big reason why I like using it over the smaller kishi and backbone options.

Hold the left back button and m at the same time until you get a blinking light. Then press whatever button you want mapped to that left back button. Do the same with the right side back button.

Not in game. But the controller has an app that lets you do that if your phone supports the current version of the app.
Hey maybe you can help me. I have the G8 (got it for this game) however I can not get it to work. Or atleast without having to map all the buttons which I really don't have the patience to do so. Any recommendations on how you got yours working so well?
I didn’t do much other than map my slide and and jump to the back buttons. Everything else is default and all I did was plug n play.
I'm in the same boat. I'm using android, not sure if that has anything to do with it. I literally bought this controller for this game and it's not working lol

Figured it out, had to hold start and select until the controller light turned green for Android mode

It gets hot but no warnings, shutoffs or freezes etc.
My s23ultra heats up even after new update Devs have it running better on ios hopefully Android will get better with more updates Devs really mess up but I love the game don't have to spend money on Playstation ,Xbox or Pc thanks Activision ❤
Hello, I am writing this comment with translation. I am using 15 Pro Max. After entering the game, it gets warm and the screen brightness decreases. Do I need a cooler for this?
I haven’t played for long periods of time to know how hit it gets. It does get warm but the device hasn’t overheated.
Does your iphone 15 max over heat when playing this game ? Do you use the peak graphic ?
Did get hot but didn’t overheat and I was playing at peak settings yes.

Yes the game runs hot. No overheating/burning issues though.

This doesnt work with my gamesir g8 ! What setting do you have the controlled on? Iv tried the android mode (green light) and the blue light mode. Both either dont work (green light) or are unplayable due to sensitivity (blue light)

As a ported game, I feel that it has been optimized to the maximum extent. If continue to optimize, it will reduce the image quality details and resolution, which will make the game look less like Call of Duty. You only need to buy a Snapdragon 8g3 mobile phone
I have an gaming phone so it runs smoothly for me but my friends do have complaints about the graphics being blurry

The controller is connected directly to the device. there should be no delays at all or it is scanty

Yo how good is that controller really. I'm really considering on getting a good mobile controller for fps games and most mobile controllers are horrible while trying to aim. since my PS5 edge doesn't work. Let me know man. Gimme some honesty.
It’s still hard to aim with due to deadzones not being able to be adjusted. That’s the honest truth. Combined with gyro though, it is awesome. However it’s got awesome comfort if you’re familiar with an actual Xbox controller, interchangeable sticks, no noticeable input lag, Hall affect sticks, 2 back buttons/paddles. Great stuff. If only the game would fix its deadzone issues and allow us to customize.

I play on iphone 15 pro max and am actually surprised with haw great it plays and looks. Phone gets hot, but the game plays solid no matter what.

Look up jgods video on warzone mobile. He got a HUD code he made to use with controller. He made the hud look like warzone with no buttons on the screen. It’s got everything on the sides of the screen. It came out super clean and nice. Looks pretty close to the non Mobile hud.
I didn’t realize there were presets but since the making of this video I have switched over to the default controller hud and it’s much cleaner now appreciate the suggestion though might still check that out.

Rog ally do a lot of stuff than a expensive iPhone 15pm, you can play wz3 and do work stuff cause the windows 11 but get the z1 extreme

Hello. I'm having trouble connecting the device to my phone (iPhone 15 pro max) so I can't use the controller. Can you make a video about the setup? Sometimes the LED indicator turns red, I could not find what these colors mean. It was working when I first connected the device. but now it doesn't interact with my phone, the buttons are some kinda dysfunctional
You need to make sure you’re on the white light. There’s blue, green, and white. You can switch between these modes by holding the start and select buttons up top at the same time until the light changes colors.
@@Misaac I did what you said and now the controller is working. Thanks. But not every button is active in Warzone. For example, I can't shoot, change ammo etc. Up and back buttons not working at all hahah How can I assign the keys to the action that I want?
@@ubykhus78 you need to manually map the back buttons.
Hold M and 1 back button until the light blinks then hit the button you’d like assigned.
Example: hold M and back left button together until the light blinks, then hit the B button and now the crouch button is mapped to to that back left. Do the same for the right side.
For the red light it might be your trigger setting it off for me it was whenever I hit left trigger. I believe if you hold M and the trigger that’s causing the red light it will fix it.

You probably shouldn’t play for very long if you’re experiencing high temperatures

I changed it to default controller hud and it gets rid of all the icons. You can see it in the more recent videos I made but thanks anyway 😚
Game uses a lot of bandwidth, my internet can't keep up even tho i play codm on 40ms on a server from a neighbouring country.

Most of the HuD I put the slider to the left transparent - opaque

Yes it heats up but doesn’t overheat from my experience. Does lag sometimes after playing for a while.

@@Taylorjamesmusic. the gyro setting has nothing to do with your controller. It should work regardless of the gamepad you went with. Gyroscope is a setting for your phone to work with motion controls not the controller. So you should be fine.

I think it was at 9 but there’s more too it. I have to look at it again.

Yes it should fit no probablem on a standard 15. Standard 15 also uses USBC, so there should be no issues there.

Off? It shouldn’t be on. But it’s in settings I’m assuming. I haven’t messed with gyro.

The Rog ally allowed you to play warzone against PC and console players?? I thought it would of been mobile version. That sucks.... I'll stick to my Asus Rog 7 for mobile gaming. Just to get a controller for it. Carrying around a ps5 controller isn't ideal. The controller you use doesn't fit the Rog 7

I tried it and I can’t get it to function as intended. It’s super slow with load times, laggy once loaded into the training grounds. Have to figure out if there’s any better ways to get it working if at all.

No input delay but bad deadzone sensitivity. Which makes it feel delayed when you aim. If they fix that it’s solid. Unless you use gyro aim with controller, then you’re golden.
Do you know how to remap the controls
To remap I held M and my left back paddle button until the light blinked then I hit the B button to remap B to the back. You would do this with whatever button you’re trying to remap.
Can you put the buttons on 0 opacity
You can hide them entirely. In my latest video I’m using the controller default hud and it gets rid of all the unnecessary buttons and cleans up the Hud real nice.
Guys, Remember call of duty is not for a broke person if your phone too suck to play this game then just buy a new one
I think call of duty is for more high end phones
