The skills Shakur have are honestly amazing. His ability to stand toe to toe, or walk a man down & simply hit and not get hit are second to none. He’s truly a generation Athlete.

🙋♂He's alright...He is just good enough to dominate a fight but he doesn't have knockout power or the work rate to stop a fight against higher level opponents. Shakur should have stopped this guy. Shakur is younger and has better physical abilities but he still couldn't get this guy outta there. Where Floyd Mayweather was young he was a combination boxer/puncher who could finish a fight quick if he needed to. The talent level is way worse nowadays. Shakur would have been considered just a regular fighter if it was the 80's🤷🥱

Robson se quiser ser campeão, mesmo que mude de categoria vai ter que melhorar bastante o condicionamento físico. Toda luta ele parece estar cansado já na metade. Mas acredito que ainda assim ele tem mais chances de ser campeão aí do que o Esquiva lá nos médios.

Conceicao threw a bunch of punch, but relatively few direct connects.

So he caught Stevenson a few times with some clean shots on his chin, specially left hooks, and there was a right hook that was also a banger but didn't have enough power to hurt Stevenson.

There’s not many fighters who impress me massively today but Stephenson certainly does.

Perfect for boxing. If you want to grow the sport release the big fights on CZcams and other platforms instead of gate keeping the footage for a year to two years. Also putting some semi-big fights back on cable TV like Spike, Fox Sports, ABC, Bally's. The streaming route is great too with DAZN and ESPN+ as long as you have the monthly subscription

they were born the same year & Robson stayed an amateur longer, Vasily was already a pro champ(2nd fight) for 2 years when Robson won the 2016 Olympic gold medal...

Shakur uses proper technique. You’re going to get hit, it’s boxing. he just destroyed a gold medalist. It’s not about power in the Olympics, it’s about landed punches. The kid can box. Him and Haney are similar, but Shakur is pretty boy Floyd and Haney is money mayweather. Both should avoid tank because of his power combined with equal skill. Ryan Garcia has power if he catches you with a punch “you didn’t see”. No natural rhythm though, he will always be a journeyman.
Shakur is not pretty boy Floyd- pretty boy was a knock out artist and would have dropped this boxer, Shakur does not have that power like pretty boy Floyd.

Shakur definitely gets hit, and he got hit by a one dimensional fighter that he was able to beak down as the fight went on. Dude made no adjustments and made it easy for Shakur. Shakur was sitting on his punches every round and got that weakass knockdown. Him and Haney would be a boring fight to casuals. But I myself would love to see that fight. Tank beats both of em. He has the same amount of skill but he has what they both lack and that’s punching power and possibly a stronger chin.
Stevenson chose to walk Conceicao down and trade with him because he didn't rate his power. He'll fight Tank at range, counter punch and attack selectively.

Tank is more skilful and less messy than the Conceicao and because he packs a bigger punch, Shakur will box at range. It'll be highly technical cos both are efficient boxers rather than busy ones.

Conceicao did a f* awesome job. Shakur clearly won but still, it wasn't as dominant as many claim tbf, Robson fought way better than Valdez and basically showcased how the east European 1-2 combo is gonna be very useful to create some openings on Stevenson's game...

Conceição lack of stamina and the fact that he didn't threw combinations made him so ineficient and predictable that Shakur got really comfortable and did his thing... Still i belive Shakur could've done much more, he had an opponent that he could've easily dominated in a much better fashion, he should have knocked him out. No hate but I'm not impressed at all.
