The order I approach the tasks required to reach Rule the Universe is to focus on the Conquer Mars (i.e. Saucer takedowns) task first. By the time you complete that you should have most of the other tasks completed especially 5-way Combo, Total Annihilation and Super Jets. If not, then I’ll aim to complete the remaining of those tasks first as they are interlinked to a degree i.e. the same shots can contribute to multiple tasks.
In earlier games I left starting the Multiball and getting the Super Jackpot task for later in the game, but recently I realised that if I can get it down close to the beginning (unlike what I did in this game), you can get that stress out of the way. If you missed it you'll have more time to re-lock balls again as it requires twice as many shots second time around. The Martian Attack and the Martian Multiball task you can trigger whilst completing the Conquer Mars task but often I still end up needing to complete it.
Here are time-stamps for certain points of interest, goals and modes reached in the game.

ShoryukenToTheChin's guide for the table is available from the Zen Studios Blog
    blog.zenstudios...
His guide should help you if you are unfamiliar with the table and its modes and goals.
My basic aim with any tips and strategy gameplay video I post is to help the viewer improve his skill in the game and on the specific table. I do this by identifying the safest and most efficient strategy to follow to play through the modes and to reach and beat the wizard mode. This is admittedly not always the most efficient way to achieve a high score, but once you understand the table, including which shots and modes are worth it or not, it puts you in the position where you can concentrate on what you have identified as the best approach to reaching a high score.

I got about 6 mill but ive held a ball s long as whats played here and scored no where near that . But I don understand the table much , I only just learnt that rule the universe even existed . I never attempt to shoot centre targets straight on as it will down the gutz 80% of the time

A very risky table but I hope my guide helps you a bit to understand it better. Before I think of scoring and strategy, I always first focus on how to minimize risk i.e. which shots to avoid.

I play this game on a tablet which I think it is much harder because not able to nung like on the regular machine. But thank you for this tutorial.

I can imagine it is tough on a tablet. I believe the FX version will play much easier.

@@airforceoneye2663 it is the latest game in the series, called Pinball FX. It is not out on tablet yet, but I presume it will come out at some point. The physics is much different, but overall easier than FX3 Williams Classic Arcade physics.

hello from 2023 ✌️👌 Great work here. Do you know if zen has applied the universal monsters physics to the older williams volumes?

    • @PinStratsDan
      @PinStratsDan  Před rokem +1

They indicated that they would, but unfortunately didn't. Doesn't matter going forward because they abandoned the realistic physics approach for their Pro physics in FX.

At this stage I wouldn't hold out much hope for those tweaked physics in the newer volumes. At least not from FX3.

Can't say the same about Black Rose, that's one table for the Zen physics.

I'm fairly new to the digital pinball scene. My high score on this table is 12 billion atm. Does anyone know why this table has such high points? Like, for example, other tables like Fish Tales or Medieval Madness only give you a couple of million even for jackpots while Attack From Mars gives you 500 million for one UFO. Is this just a design choice? It's kind of confusing to he honest, lol.

    • @PinStratsDan

Just a design choice 😉. It is fun though to see your score balloon.
