To clarify, as there are different ways to contribute to the creation of a song, when we say songs written by Eminem it doesn't mean that he was the sole lyricist on a track but made enough of a contribution to be listed as a songwriter. thanks!

M&MS? WHATS NEXT CORNBEAF?! 🥔
On Fire
This was kind of misleading. If he writes the hook, like he does with a lot of songs that he produces, he's going to get writing credit for publishing. saying he wrote it makes the rapper who claims he's writes his own stuff, look bad. Now, we all now he wrote for Dre. but the rest of the artist you see he didn't write their verses.

How can I get a song featured on your channel?
“Forget About Dre” is also one of my most favorite songs of all time.
He originally wrote that for dre and snoop, dre said em’s voice sounds good on it
Damn , i actually forgot about that song ! it's pretty good .
Facts. It had a cathartic feel. Especially when Dre says "Fuck you'll, all ya'll".
Dre murders that track
Legendary
That’s why Em gets all respect from the hip-hop world and Black Culture, man bc of his contributions to da game. Em’s love for the Culture is effortless and we love him just as much. I love how he pays homage to those who came before him.
agreed
All? I don’t think so it’s contested on daily yes his a great rapper but I’ve seen so many people speaking up that they don’t see him as what white media paint him out to be. If he was down for the culture he would have done what Marlo Brando did for native peoples in rejecting an award in public to address the negative portrayals of black people media does.
Another Eminem hater 😒 🙄. Wait who stood up for Native Americans. Native Americans have been getting mess with foe the longest time. The first thing comes to mind is Wounded Knee. But back to the Eminem thing I think he is trying to help at least Detroit. Dr.Dre helped Compton. It takes time and in Revival he does a whole song about how black people are mistreated and mentions Native Americans once at the end. I have a feeling Eminem doesn't like Native Americans
@@urielcalderon9639 also Marlon Brando did except the first one though. But he might not have known what the hell was going on at that point. I'm curious if he ever played a Native American character. They used to use Italian people for Native American characters
@@Treevors30 yeh the first one was prior to the reality he saw and as far as I know he has not played any roles like that, in regards to marshal mathers the 3rd I wouldn’t be surprised nor do I easily trust, I find him rather performative then actually of merit in substance.

Em is also an underrated producer,he produced the whole Loyal to the game album by 2 Pac for free

Funny how someone thinks they knew when they didn't!
I just found out reading this. I thought it was all dre. My bad
Eminem may be the most famous ghost writers of all time. He's just too talented. But you can spot his style in general.
Jay-Z , Ice Cube , & The DOC are the most famous Ghost Writers Ask Dr.Dre. Still Dre / The Watcher Pt 2 = Jay-Z
Niggaz4Life/Deep Cover/The Chronic Album= The DOC
Straight Outta Compton= Ice Cube
That isn't what ghost writing is, though. Ghost writers aren't credited. They are usually paid a one-time fee to do the work and to not claim credit for the work. Credited writers are listed as the writers and are paid royalties when the song is played. Ghost writing intends to deceive the listeners whereas credit writing does not.

You guys made it seem he wrote verses for Obie and other rappers. The only one he would write for is Dr. Dre. The reason he has writing credit he made the beat. As in he wrote the instrumentals in music theory terms. Rappers take pride in writing their own rhymes.
Yep, and you can get a writers credit for even something as small as a snippet. Eminem wouldn't even mess with these other rappers if they needed ghostwriters, Dr. Dre is different as he's a producer not an emcee
Writing choruses and hooks are the majority of the actual writing credits. A few lines here and there can get a person credited as well. Never underestimate what a chorus or hook does for a song.
No, theyre just pointing out the ones Em wrote, either partly or entirely. Last I checked, Obie has more than this one track in his discography. Lol
@Kevin Zhang "You didn't know were written by Eminem" They make it seem like he was ghost writing for dudes. I understand a writers credit for choruses or hooks. But the way they phrased it, comes off as he wrote all the verses and hooks that's all I was saying.

@@BryanKalloo you're no real Tupac fan culture vulture . You're talkin to original Tupac fan since Digital Underground same song and 2pacalypse now when it first dropped. It's a fact of hip-hop Eminem ruin running because the original version was better and not sped up crap like the resurrection version.. Eminem also ruined loyal to the game album and sped up Tupac's versus and it made it sound like crap and the Beats were shit because Eminem is a terrible beat maker . Don't come at me with that bullshit cuz you're talking to a real hip-hop head was born and raised in the hip-hop culture since the late 70s
No surprises. Was hoping to see a credit for something like the teardrops on my guitar, should've been a cowboy or Mariah Careys Christmas album
😂 😂 😂
I knew about most of these but not the yellawolf one. But makes sense he even raps it like em would
i love eminem my favorite eminem still is stan featuring both elton john and the other one featuring dido i love that song soo much its not even funny i love the song love the way you lie as well including wont back down im a loyal fan of eminem i own all his stuff from 1996 till his most recent album today
Anybody who couldn't tell Em wrote "Forgot about Dre" should stop listening to hiphop immediately.💯
Watching this just make me think more highly of EMinem. He is very talented and think some people underestimate on what he can do.
Especially at the start of his career.
He's more than underappreciated these days.
That thumbnail got me
i subbed in the first 3 seconds
Marshall always Matters.💜💛
Didn't know he wrote Let's Get High. That's awesome, I love that song.
Just dres verses in those situations
The Got Some Teeth video still makes me laugh
Love that last one especially.
I would think many may agree that The Chronic 2001 is one of the greatest albums of all time.
Not even in the top 25 albums all time. The original chronic is a top 5 album tho
Hell yeah. For sure
@@hakwak7728 stay off drugs kid
@@Piranha5150 yea ok. Show me a list where the 2001 is listed in the top 10
@@hakwak7728 maybe not top 10 but definitely top 25. And that was your initial statement. So your wrong.
If 2Pac and Biggie were alive, they definitely would collaborate with Eminem.
And I doubt mumble rap would exist. Hip-hop would be so different.
2pac looks like he'd be racist
@@dwayneneal3342 pac wasn't racist he did interviews with white dudes
@@imheresoiwontgetfined5438 that don't mean nothing lol he beat up one of his black producers ,what do you think he would do to a whiteboy
