You can't really give them a justified score until the console has completed its lifespan.

The dimensions are important to know if it'll fit in your entertainment unit.
Well the more compact something is the more expensive it is. They want PS5 to be affordable not something that cost like an Iphone 12. They could probably put an nvme/m.2 storage instead of a solid stare, but a terabyte will cost tou an arm and a leg. It sure as hell would help making it smaller. The graphics card being powerful will emit more heat hence the large heatsink. That is why pc's will never be portable/smaller because people don't want to sacrifice power. They would rather put more fans in there lol. Besides another 20 years maybe it will go back to being portable again.

@@myname8513 I have ALWAYS kept my PS4 in rest mode and ejected games from the screen. Whenever I DID attempt to use the buttons on the console, I would 9/10 mess up and press the wrong thing.

How can I connect the ps5 straight to the receiver if it doesn’t have a hdmi audio port or optical audio port...? I have 7.1 home theater setup... this is such a drag... I mean I could use the optical audio port from the TV to the receiver but then I won’t be able to use Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio features....
My only options is buy another receiver with a arc mode, or deal with the the optical TV connection without the 4k audio features ;(

The one complaint i have about the dualsense is that there is no lightbar. instead its just a charging port. why couldnt they have a lightbar that wrapped around the charger or something? i just like the lightbar

They're trying to dissuade folks from opening it to fix themselves when problems occur. You can't change the internal ssd due to it being soldered onto the motherboard either.
