Hi Cristian, i am a student from Germany and a big fan of your work. The surfboards you created are simply amazing. Over the last months I have been working on such a project as well. I have built a testing stand for different jet units and through that I know, that some different components are needed to achieve my goals. In the past time i have worked with parts from China, which do work but don't really give me the results I want. Through a little bit of reaserach i stumbled over the Lehner Torquestar 3 (7050) motor, which you use in this particular project. I think that the motor paired with a MGM speed controller is the way to go for me as well. Nevertheless, i am not sure when it comes to the winding count of the motor. I have a number in the back of my head, but it would be really interesting to know how many windings your version of the motor has. I just don't have a lot of experience and it would be great to know your configuration when it comes to that. What would also be great to know is, if you use the watercooled version or if you did all the cooling work on your own?
If you find time and you want to, you could write me an e-mail. I would be really happy about that. My e-mail adress: lukas.osswald26@gmail.com
Thank you for sharing these great projects!

about 20 mins. but really a 20p would be better. i was stressing the battery packs with this setup, and only got about 50 charges before the cells started to die due to heat etc
