    Maud Angelica did a great speech at her fathers funeral at age 17. Her father struggled with mental health and commited sucide at Christmas day. That girl stand in front of the coffin of her father and told other that struggle with mental health to seek help. And the church was full of friends and important people and the funeral was aired on the television. That girl has guts.

    Такое забавное детское мини-представление. Хотя в самом начале выступали Хокон, его сестра и Метте-Марит. Дети явно увлеченно готовились и задорно отыгрывали роли интервьюеров. Гости тоже не подкачали, явно с юмором реагировали, судя по дружному смеху. Вообще на редкость теплая атмосфера, хотя и официальный ужин. С другой стороны королевские семьи Норвегии, Дании и Швеции - близкая родня, плюс там еще и коронованные крестные из Нидерландов и Испании, что тоже серьезно. Так что хоть все в вечерних нарядах и драгоценностях, но впечатление немножко домашнего "междусобойчика". Хотя почему бы и нет?

      @Southamericangirl42 Před 6 lety +6

    • @gnawershreth
      @gnawershreth Před 6 lety +26

      Like sjjack06100 said, the languages are *really* similar, especially in writing. I'm Danish and if I read an article on a Norwegian site, it's basically just like reading Danish with typos. There's more of a difference with Swedish but I'm still easily able to understand Swedish articles and stuff. There may be a word here and there that's just completely different but you'll usually be able to guess the meaning based on context etc.
      The main differences between our languages are pronunciations. Norwegian and Swedish are more similar there but still different. They both have that melodic sound to them. Very up and down in tone etc. Almost singy-songy to my ears. Danish is much more influenced by our southern neighbors and is a very "flat" language. Swedish and Norwegians think we mumble.
      However, if Danish, Swedes and Norwegians are around each other regularly, they quickly get used to the tones, the pronunciations etc. and will be able to understand each other fairly well. It's all about practice, which I guess the royal families get. The Scandinavian royals aren't exactly strangers to each other.
      You can also see the practice thing in the general population. Danes in Copenhagen are generally better at understanding Swedish than Danes in Jutland are for example, as Copenhagen is so close to Sweden that they're bound to hear Swedish regularly over there. Not so much in Jutland. Swedes are pretty much exotic in Jutland.. Unless you're in a big university or something perhaps. All the silly stereotypes and teasing between Sweden and Denmark also tends to be very Copenhagen focused as that's where most Danes see Swedes. So all of those "Drunk Swedes" stereotypes are from Copenhagen, as it's quite a popular place for Swedes to go out since it's so close to them and cheaper than Sweden when it comes to alcohol.
      A Norwegian or a Swede moving to Denmark really wouldn't need to learn a new *language*, but just different pronunciations. Most of the words are basically the same.
