Since we have discovered this band/music my wife and I have danced more than we have in many years! And she has stopped cheating on me with the mailman!
Matt Higgins ,he was boring, the pool boy’s better!
Check out the NPR series podcast Live in Concert and Pokey and the South City Three recorded 3 shows from the Newport Folk Festival - starting at 2010-11 and progress with the music to 2014 - I saw Pokey and the SCThree in Los Angeles some years back and it was amazing - the crowd was swinging
Lucky you!!
😆
🤣🤣
Chloe Feoranzo is fantastic, wish she was still with him. Loved the sound back then.
Best harp player, ever.
Played in cork last night. best gig i have ever been at. Each band member stayed on after the gig to chat with fans. could not meet a nicer bunch of people
Can’t remember the last time a band hit me this hard.
Oh!! That little Chloe is JUST SOOO CUTE !!!!
Dragged our son along to one of their concerts. He's a fan now. Not often the Olds score a goal with their offspring.
"I certainly had fun playing it, that's gotta count for something." I like that attitude.
CZcams's spooky algorithm pointed me this way and they've got me bang to rights. These guys (and gal) are utterly splendid. I'm hooked.
Your not alone good sir
Same here.
@@mangdiddlesDOTcom Me too
me three. lm ona binge.
Glad I discovered this...so unique of a sound....real musicians playing real music
cette petite chloe on la voit dans de nombreux groupes elle est merveilleuse
love it

Old Bill Jones said before i die there's 5 things i wanna ride. Bicycle ,Tri Cycle, Automobile, Bow legged Woman. and a Ferris Wheel
Finally some really cheerful uplifting music that has lots of great harmonica in it. As a harmonica player, I can really appreciate the prowess of the Cowboy harmonica player and percussionist. Don't even know his name yet, but I'm gonna find out!
Bonjour ,écoutez l album de Moriarty "Echoes from the bordeliner",harmonica au top
Miss Pokey playing with the south city three & Chloe on Clarinet
This man is a genius. He brings the music from the 50th into our time and this in a very
charmante kind, that you need to listening every song until the end. Very awesome.
I call that, "Speak Easy" music ... and it cooks!
More like 40's but you are right.
I can hear Sonny Boy say "Pokey LaFarge!" followed by a big hearty laugh.
saw pokey and band on Saturday in Rochester ny. what musicianship and orchestration. don't you think he looks like a young bing crosby
Love that bass!
lovely sax player !!! yeah r !!
Lovely hat tip to "I Know A Little."
Ya that's what I said glad I read ur comment it validated me.....but is this an old song or an original by pokey?

Top group! Saw them live and they were absolutely excellent!!!
When I was a kid in the sixties, I never appreciated the sound of everyone being in the same room and playing. It sounds old and authentic.
You had me at 'fedora'
🔊😍🕪👍
This is so badass.
That means that I indirectly, kinda, sorta... introduced the two of you in ....everyone finds love at bristol rhythm and roots!
This just makes me wanna dance!! Love it!
I'd love to hear him and Brian Setzer and his band play,
They are the best. Please come back to Al.
Where did such a young group come up with this old, old feeling from a long time ago?
god damnit i like it!
This is sick💕🤘🎤🎸
Holy cow.
Love 'em!!!
i love being entertained.
luv me some Chloe.on clarinet aka licorice stick..But she plsys some mex saxaphone
That Guild is a beauty!! Looks like a Starfire I circa 1961...but I could be wrong. They made so many variations on that theme. LONG LIVE GUILD!! (Especially now that Cordoba Music Group has finally freed Guild from the prison of Fender ownership). I know they are going to bring back the guitars that were made "Made To Be Played!" in grand fashion.
Funny but l feel the same watching Chloe dancing around!
thx
fantastic music
I think that Andy Cohen needs to dedicate a special episode of "Watch What Happens LIVE" to let Pokey LaFarge and the South Side Three come take over the show for one night.
I love to go swimin with bowlegged woman.
WALK DAT BASS BOY!!
EXCELLENT .....ça balance ....!!!!

Cool!
Sounded pretty good to me too, Pokey.
Genial !
The are all great but that harp is outstanding.
yep yep yep
That's right!
You are the best thing since Bob Wills in Roy a cuff❤️😘😎
My husband prefers a pigeon-toed woman, but regardless, this song slaps, baby. Oh, does it slap.
This music is 1930’s and 1940’s homemade joy
Lord it's great to be swimmin with bowlegged women....xD
I like to go swimmin' with bowlegged women.
+Sep Palin And swim between their knees.
and dive between their knees!
Sad arses
Swingin baby
Yes, like myself, we were both born in the wrong time. Great performance
Very cool boogie woogi 😅
Those days are gone..unfortunately....
Now I know where lynrd skynyrd got the the inspiration for I know a little.....incredible performance and material!
But wait does anyone know is this an old song or did pokey write it?
Like that Bob Will's type swing..
when are they next in the uk
Go see live. You won't be sorry.
C-Melody saxophone?
Route 66 with fresh faces!
A young Jerry Lewis too
gonna hit ya like a ton a bricks when a bowed legged woman start shakin her hips!
Chloe plays the sax too!!???
Yes
same place you found them: the internet =)
I thought this was the Bull Moose Jackson tune. Oh well. Good countryswing nostalgenre playin here.
chloe is it---shakes like bricks
Squirrel Nut Zippers Jr.
While I love SNZ I think these guys are on the other side of the spectrum. SNZ is more Jazzy swing and these guys are more country blues and Texas swing.
ClockworkGFX These guys are St. Louis blend of all that we have in musical past and present. It is as if they took a blood sample of everyone in St. Louis....shook it up ...and knew every note to play to make us happy. I love those sweet notes.
go futher lol
As much as I think this song is great, it’s also pretty dirty compared to what i listen to haha
This Band is very good and play very well but they should dress up a little if they are playing in public.
I hear a little Skynyrd influence here.
Cancel Kelly Wells!!!
