Under the Radar! Michigan - UTR UP Adventure

We'll also see the night sky like you've never seen it before, and take a leap of faith right into the refreshingly freezing waters of Lake Superior. And, if that's not enough ... we'll also do some extreme mountain biking in Copper Harbor, and show you the stairway to heavenly jams and jellies. This is an awesome video. As somebody born and raised in Marquette, it warms my heart. A few nits though. 1:53 -- isn't that looking south? And 8:52 -- the stone forming the Black Rocks is not granite. It's solidified lava (albeit worn smooth by aeons of weather). You can recognize the lava patterns if you've been to Hawaii. Ancient volcano activity.

Sometimes much further south. The trick is, you must be far out in the country, away from city lights; and you need to watch the northern sky at night!
