There are theories which states that Baphomet comes way back from Egypt, especially from the City of Mendes. The god Banedtjedet was worshipped there and resembles a human body with a head of a goat, hence the title "The Goat of Mendes" came from.
The Baphomet is a symbol for sure. It represents the four elements with the scales for water on its stomach, wings for air, flame for fire, and its feet on the earth. The knights Templar also used to cross of Lorraine to symbolize the shining ones or fallen angels. Its very gnostic.

I've never done much research about it but I totally agree and feel it's more of a symbol of awakening the magick within ourselves and a symbol of truth. I also get a really comforting energy from it which is the complete opposite of what most people think due to them being lied to by the church.

Thank you for the interesting question I am inclined to opinion that he is more a symbol than an actual entity. But sometimes even symbols can acquire some sort of consciousness 🙂So maybe the truth is somewhere in the middle as I dream about him sometimes. So although he is a symbol of my consciousness in the dream he appears real to me 🙂

Hello, I have a question, maybe it is good to have more time to get deeper into it. The question goes not of my mind. How do you recognize that the third eye is open. A shaman friend of mine, once said to me: you can open and close the third eye as you like, as soon as you have it out. This is also possible with other people 3 👁without a problem. When you will it open it is open and stand opend. When you say you will closed it, than this happens too. You can switch this like light on and of. He said, for example you can see it in a mirror. … I just want to add that it’s a common misconception that ‘if you open your 3rd eye’ you suddenly see and hear spirits - I also believed this at one point and did a lot of different practices that would open it. But what I discovered is that balancing your chakras is much more important than only opening your 3’rd eye because unless the energy is flowing freely from _the root to the crown & from the crown to the root 🔄_ an opened third eye won’t do you much of anything. I recommend a daily mediation routine to balance your chakras, for instance, kundalini mediation, or working on one and one chakra over some time is what helped me. But I also have to add that it’s not just something that you do once and then they will be open and balanced forever, they'll need constant maintenance as they’ll get blocked again depending on your everyday life experiences, such as trauma, anxiety, depressions, or issues with your friend and family etc.. But they’ll be easier and easier to maintain once you’ve established a daily mediation routine, especially if you include a chakra balancing technique as a part of your routine, _(it doesn't need to take long once you’re used to doing this)_ Daily Meditation also helps to develop your astral senses which are more important than an opened third eye. Visualization techniques will be very helpful as well, and you can ask the spirit to help you develop these senses. You'll find guided meditations on CZcams to help you remove chakra blockages and to balance your chakras. Balance is the key here though 😊

That's true. I know a man who can switch on/off his spiritual senses whenever he wants to. And shuts everything down then back to a normal person.
