I live in Fayetteville, 20 minutes from Round Top. Round Top has really cranked up the shopping and dining throughout the year. Most places are not open until Thursday through Sunday, and weekends in Round Top are pretty busy.

I would LOVE it if you could do a list of the shops that are open year around! I go to Dallas once a year from Minnesota and couldn’t find any unique antique shops. The food list too! 💞🙌🏻

What an awesome trip for y’all with so much to see. WOW taxidermy is so expensive . I had no idea. When y’all were talking about your gardening video I did remember seeing some of the negative comments and some that were very helpful. Gardening is something that takes time to learn. Yes some have a natural ability when it comes to gardening. I can’t tell you how many mistakes John and I made many years ago when we starting planting at our very first house. Even today after gardening probably 50 plus years we will still sometimes have an epic fail. I’m almost 77 and John is 81 and we still love gardening and I am blessed to still be able to do it. The place y’all stayed is just so pretty and I’m sure y’all loved it. Love and blessings to y’all 💚🩷💚
Yes! Taxidermy was shocking for us. We see it at estate sales much higher but don’t typically use it except for the one time we used a deer head in our Christmas mantle.
And yes we all have to start somewhere. I don’t know much yet but I love getting my hands in the dirt and watching things grow 😊

Trader Joe’s carries those exact bulb vases with the bulbs in spring for around $4. I don’t know if there’s a location close to you but if there is next year you can get them there. 😀

Heyya Gals. Since we are pro tipping here, here's mine as a design geek CZcams watcher. I watch the videos sometimes more than once. One time with sound and one time without. Without sound, I can really take in so much more about the designed spaces because I am such a visual person. I look at the space first and really absorb it and think about what is going on and I usually see more than I would have with the sound. Then, it's sound time where I actually listen and get all the details and stories behind the space and design concept. It works for me and I love to do this. Does anyone else do this or maybe it's just me?😂😊❤ Ohhh...PSABTW, if the CZcams person is a little too extra for me, I'll just watch without sound all together and still enjoy the video if they have good content. Just sayin'. 😊❤❤❤😊
Hey! One thing I thought about doing was doing the talking version on CZcams then having instrumental music with video clips on the blog. I haven't seen a ton of people have examples of this but I've definitely been hunting for the best method for everyone 💕
Heyya Gals. Some people may like that, and for poops and giggles, you could give it a try. I have watched other design CZcamsrs that I love when they walk through their million dollar client's home do an excellent job talking about it. But then, they do some shorts with loud crazy 🤪 music or really annoying music, and I go bonkers and out with the sound(and I am a music lover believe it or not.) So you'd have to pick really agreeable music to most IMHO. You guys are so sweet, though, that I need to listen with the sound anyway to hear your laughter.😀

Yes she’s a cavapoo. Half miniature poodle and half cavalier King Charles. She doesn’t shed and she’s super smart. They’re playful and cuddly! She’s the best.

Please share what seasons and when to go to round top...i still don't understand the concept... Can you compare it to Canton?
Ok it’s mainly spring and fall show but there’s a winter event too. You can look online for dates. It’s just much bigger than Canton. And there is a lot of imported items. You almost need to go with someone who’s been there or make a trip to just explore the first time. We could give you very specific recommendations but then things change and I wouldn’t want to send you on a goose chase. It’s fun to see even if you don’t have anything to shop for. 😍

I don’t know if you realize, but the tag said d $18,000, not $8,000. Lol! Love them but that’s a car. I believe there are American made pieces that are brand new, which means they have no rust.

The bulbs are hyacinths. All gardeners have to start somewhere! And just because a comment doesn't have 😄 or 💕💞doesn't mean they're angry~maybe just trying to give helpful information, and don't have much of a sense of humor. 🤩🤪🤩Oh, and I'm not being critical! I'm one of the shovel people.😉
And I love your videos! I've been decorating this way for 30+ years! Many of my pieces came from garage sales and estate sales over the years. I've had a wall of vintage white platters since 2000, (some I got at Round Top or Warrenton for .50-$2.00) and I still love it. I occasionally mix in an old cutting board in the display, as well.
Oh my goodness! This is Michelle and I was cracking up about the shovel! Especially because you weren’t the only one who said it. There really were lots of great tips and interaction on the garden video. I wasn’t really referring to that. We’ve got pretty thick skin. We had another recent video with some intense comments so we were just giving a little push back on that! Love your feedback so much! And thanks for helping me get my shovel lol! 😉❤️
Shelby here now 😋 no harm in comments that are direct with emojis. I really did receive so many helpful tips and I’m so thankful. We do get some very angry comments from time to time though. Just yesterday a lady called us “foolish hosts” in a home tour. I just tell them to try to have a good day and laugh it off lol the world of CZcams!
