Wifi throttles make my handheld feel antiqued.. I use engine driver with my tablet and cell phone.. three throttles on each. I use the cell throttles for switching and the tablet throttles for running on the main... great fun ! I assume the iPhone version would allow more than one throttle if you desired.
I have been using the lite version for a couple of years and really like it. After seeing your explanation of the features of the full version I think I am ready to give that a try.
After watching your previous video on WiFi, I ordered the MRC WiFi module to go with my MRC system! I have the MRC wireless conversion backordered, but that may take a while to get, so now I will be WiFi-friendly when I have guests and can run my layout wirelessly! Thanks for the 'push' (or what it just a 'nudge'?) towards running my trains with a WiFi smartphone throttle!
Roy Just got the Pro version very cool advance features I can now see my JMRI Panel my JMRI Tables and most importantly I can control my turnouts from the app. Thanks Tom
I do like using the app. I have it on my iPad mini as well as my phone. On the phone when a call comes in it disrupts the app. The iPad mini is a little bigger and makes it easy to control two engines. Good review.

This is so great , I use DIGITRAX system and can use up to 4 phones ( Android ) at the same time. So when people come to run with me they just have to download the app and they can use their own phone . Each phone can control 2 trains at the same time plus the turnouts that are connected to stationary decoders . I now use my DIGITRAX throttles only for programmation of new locos or to change CV value . The system is good to up to 30 feet .
Roy I use WiThrottle lite version did not know they had a paid version I have the Withrottle Server running with my JMRI I Use this alot when I and moving around the layout works great. Will look into the paid version would like to be able to change my turnouts also.
I want to be able to use WiThrottle remotely, I wish they would enable alphanumeric domain name options for use with DDNS. Engine Driver does it, why not WiThrottle.
