Gibson already did the Tribute line right for SGs and Les Pauls, in 2018, the problem was for them, all not weight relieved mahogany ... it was basically a Standard with satin finish and no binding, It was awesome ... but were discontinued the same year because it was cannibalizing all the other lines lol Never getting rid of that one!

Not a huge fan of satin finishes . Not sure why , but I just don’t like them . đŸ€·đŸŒâ€â™‚ïž

I’ve always been an SG guy, just overall one of the comfiest designs in guitar history. The Iommi connection helps too, plus they look evil as hell. These days I’m mostly on an LTD Viper which is more or less a modern take on the SG.

I’ve actually never tried a viper . I’ve seen them in offer up around my area , but never in person. I’ve had a few LTD Les Paul copies that sounded amazing though. I’ll have to check one out . đŸ€˜đŸ»đŸ€˜đŸ»đŸ€˜đŸ»

I would have like to have watched your vid. but turned it off when I saw the double salute to Satan at the start.
