- After getting closer & closer on at least 7 or 8 occasions this season (half of those are still too many dumb -000 bids which'll never work) & 50 episodes later, the curse is broken. Congratulations to Desiree on not only becoming our 1st Double Showcase Winner of the 52nd season, but it's also our 1st DSW at Haven Studios. Notice how the turntable behind them turns green when this exciting moment happens. And this DSW happened just 1 day before celebrating Bob Barker's milestone 100th birthday! He'd be thrilled seeing this happen. Now we are about 2 DSW's away from the historic number 200! Can we hit it this season if the bidders in the showcase keep being creative? Let's hope for more in Season 52! Enjoy the video!

I say it's about time! 🎉
Also another thing to add here. This is identical as to what happened when we had our 1st ever Double Showcase Winner from the Bob Barker Studios at CBS in Hollywood. The top winner in the showcase overbid & the runner-up won both showcases. Fast forward half a century later, history repeats itself once again. Gotta love another historic moment here on The Price Is Right.

This DSW was during The 19th Birthday of Me (Quang Anh).
The 1st DSW without the presence of Bob Barker, who died on August 26th and could've been 100, on this taping day! Not only that, it's a "Big Win" in this taping.
