- August 27th, 2020 marks my 11 month loc-iversary.
thats crazy, im about to officially hit my 1 year mark of having locs. im not sure if i learned much in the past few weeks for this loc update besides growth, and i have so much of it that i still need to experience.
every time i get a loc retwist i look back in awe like, this is really my hair? these are really my locs? i truly can't imagine what the next 11 months to a year will be like on this loc journey.
but again i say, rock your locs like you just got a fresh new retwist.
i started my loc journey on september 27th, 2019, using the comb coil method with diamond parts, how did you start your journey?

Hey Queen. I had to come watch this first bc we were dang near loc twins. It hurt having to big chop but i will def have mine the right way next go round. If anyone has starter locs make sure you love your parts before you get 11 months in like me and have to chop! Thanks for sharing and i will continue to follow yours. next go round i will be starting mine super short unfortunately since i am close to bald now. Congrats on one year Queen! (im late to this one)💛Next time i think i will have less also. Yes to that hang time baby! 😍😍

i know! it’s crazy that it would’ve been your first year today but it still is & you will have your first year. i’m excited for you to start your new journey! i could’ve been damn well in your shoes as well cause i would second guess my locs from time to time. i’m dropping my first year video today! but congrats to you too nonetheless for today being your first year and for you starting new journeys 💗

9/28/2020 loc birthday. Carefree; shampoo & condition etw, spray with micellar water 3tw. Keep them pulled apart at the scalp and palm roll when needed. No product used to palm roll.

GIRL, the 27th will be my 10mo mark and I have mushroom growth too! Bayang in the front gaining lentgh gradually as it moves towards the back. The scoop to see the fullness is a REAL experience. 😭 Keep glowing!! 🌟

Your locs look amazing! I'm 4 months loc'd (Will be 5 months the 20th of this month) and I started with two strand twists. I haven't done a loc count yet lol

Hey, I've been watching your journey for a while and it really boosted my confidence before I even started my locs. Im 5 months into my journey i was wondering how often so you retwist and what do you use to oil and moisturize your locs or what is your routine?
i’m really glad my videos could do something for you ♥️ , i retwist every 4 weeks+ , and to moisturize i use rose water & vitamin e oil in a spray bottle .
