    I am dealing with anxiety and depression and I am only 22 years of age. Last night I went to see the doctor and my blood pressure was high which was 144/93 and they checked again and it was 144/96. This video has been helpful, I'll try to stay healthy and make some improvement with my daily life style.

    • @brettknoss486
      @brettknoss486 Před rokem

      @@jenilieolasiman9894 it might be arbitrary, but the prescribing guidelines are to treat stage 1 hypertension with one medication, and stage 2 with multiple medications. This could possibly allow some room to discuss risk aversion of blood pressure vs drugs with the patient. The doctors responsibility is to study and keep up on risks posed by disease, drugs and mitigate both.

    Recently became aware that my hypertension has been increasingly worse and worse and has gotten to dangerous levels as of the last 6 months or so (if I had to guess..)
    I originally started taking clonodine a couple years back but had to stop because the drowsiness made it hard to get any work done.. but after my doctor read a 170/123 reading on me (he took it three different times and it varied slightly each time) I realized I needed to do something. I’ve started taking the clonodine again but only at night when work is finished.. I’m attempting to limit my sodium intake and trying to drink even more water.
    I feel so lost and defeated with my readings. It’s high from the moment I wake up and is varying levels of Stage 2 throughout the day no matter if I eat a salad, go for a walk .. I just feel so frustrated and I don’t know if these changes will make a difference..
    I’ll followup with this comment in a few weeks and see if there’s been any improvement…

      I’ve cleaned up my eating habits quite a bit (no soda, no heavily processed foods, no heavy grease.. only cooking with avocado oil.. limiting sugars etc) and have started walking more on a alternating incline at the gym for a minimum of 60 mins. I’m down almost 12 pounds since end of March and my blood pressure is a lot more stable.
      I’ll be going in soon for updated labs to see if my lipid levels are better. 💕

      Also hypertension is called a silent killer for a reason. It’s a great thing all your test results are normal but if your bp is not controlled there’s a lot of damage that could happen so it would be very helpful to manage your lifestyle. If you have a bp machine at home you should try to do your own tests at least once a day to see if your htn is white coat induced…If per adventure you’re doing all this (re: lifestyle changes, home bp checks and medication compliance and your bp is still the same you might want to tell your doctor so they can switch up your regimen.

    After 15 years of taking high blood pressure medication I found a natural remedy that I use and I no longer have high blood pressure at all! For a year now, my blood pressure has been normal WITH BEET JUICE! Of course, important segments are normal exercises (walking), reduce salt, fat, alcohol, coffee, reduce but do not eliminate, but the holy medicine for high blood pressure is beet juice! Also, beetroot juice must be drunk in moderation, because if you drink, say, an entire glass your blood pressure can drop below normal! So, who has high blood pressure, half a cup of beet juice before noon and half a cup after noon! And you don't need that therapy every day, just sometimes! I now drink one cup a week, sometimes two!

    If you are an irritable, hateful person, you are prone to high blood pressure. Because the environment changes according to our heart, our mentality greatly affects our physical health. So, if you are a tolerant, easy-going person, you will not have high blood pressure.

      @@lovejoseph1899 In this case, you seem to have good reason to be annoyed, but after an angry outburst, you can easily become more upset for days or even months on end. Not to mention elevated blood pressure, you may even get sick. The truth is, you're doing more damage to yourself by choosing to punish them rather than forgive them. So, forgiving others is always the best choice in your life.
