i know Simon can be a bit much at times, but he does have a point, i'm not saying he's right but i can put a few points that may or may not change your views of Simon. you see, as a performer, you need to be confident, let's say she really is good as she says she is but when you're nervous it breaks your voice and your routine. next is the attitude. she was fine at first but you never interrupt a judge or go against them because no matter how you want to turn the world around the fact that they're the judges and they have achieved more and experienced more will never change.
Great technique!!! Do this in rehearsals and it might work for you how I taught myself singing or the basics anyway lol. You may want to stay away from the actual audition doing this but you may just pass it...

She sings with no confidence whatsoever. Her main problem is that she thinks too much. You can tell that while she is singing, she is listening to herself and thinking of every single note that she sings. She treats it like a paint by numbers; as a result, she has no power, misses notes and cannot stay on one key. Maybe if she tried being herself instead of anticipating how much she can sound like Mariah, she'd be okay.
She doesn't sing with any sort of emotion. It sounds really flat and plain. She's not even trying. Normally I would say that people have potential to sing but she has no potential. Some people have the potential to learn to sing better bevaude there's something there that can be worked with. Some people are just born with a natural gift from God to sing. But then, like her, there are some people who just should find their talent elsewhere and just not sing. So many people think that singing is just opening your mouth and letting sound come out in a certain way but that's not the case at all. Singing is about conveying emotion and telling a story through the words that you're singing. If you can't make the people listening feel that story and feel that message and especially if you don't sound good, then you should just not sing.

She should learn the hard way, she cannot sing anything! She should fire her vocal coach, and move on!
