- While I was playing FFVII Remake I heard this track which is not from the original psx game and I instantly fell in love with it.
It's so close to my music genre and it seemed perfect to be played with my modular synth!

I cant believe we ALL universally feel the same way about this soundtrack.
Believe it my friend!! Think about this.. we all experienced a deep, sentimental emotion with this game that was special back then right? And now, with technology at the state it's at, allows us to come together and just dive head first into that emotion all over again. All very unique to us, yet understood by many.

Not gonna lie. I heard this music in the game and put my joypad on the floor. Great magic and feels with my tears falling down on my face.
Well there is one crap piece of music in the soundtrack.
That’s not a modular synthesizer, it’s a life support machine connected directly to my heart.
Okay, I just have to say.. that moment Aerith rendezvoused with Cloud and started to make our way forward already got me feeling so much feels. Then for this song to slowly creep in had me hypnotized. The melody of the original just had that tone that pulled at my heart and I kid you not, I think I had the game paused for that song to cycle a good 15 times. I cannot express how this simple track brought me to reminisce on every single thing that this game back in 1997 did that made me feel so emotionally attached to these characters and the entire story as a whole. I knew that there were others out there that could relate, but its something that's hard to fully explain in words. However, here I am.. discovering this beautiful rendition that fully encapsulates those emotions and expresses so much more. Thank you for taking the time to create this gem. Now, please excuse me while I continue to weep.

@@akira_kei_ I'm with you my friend. I took my sweet time playing through this. The original made such an impact on my life at 8 years old and to relive this story 23 years later just blows my mind. I'm all for the way this story is going because I feel that Tetsuya plays into the act of drawing in new players, but at the same time giving the fans of the original that nostalgic satisfaction subtly.. Enjoy the rest of the journey!

Came into the game expecting a good high definition of FFVII. What I got was a more memorable experience from just the first part of the entire story and this soundtrack was one of my top favorites of the game. Great rendition, very beautiful!
This track is an instant classic and you've done such a great rendition of it. What I love about Remake is it's not just retelling an old story but creating new moments and new memories. Feels like I've known this song forever.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is the only game other than Final Fantasy X that made me really FEEL something.
I’ve never played the original game, so I have no preconceived notions or expectations of what this game should be.
So from the moment I got to the church with Aerith, then walking the rooftops, followed by getting to Aerith’s house. I was feeling things I’ve never experienced before from any movie, show, or any other game I’ve ever played.
The best way that I can describe it is that I legit fell in love with a fictional character. I’m fairly certain it’s what could be described as love at first sight. Which is extremely odd I know, but I don’t care because the feeling was amazing.
So when Cloud was trying to sneak out without Aerith I was feeling so bummed out, and on that long walk through the night I was feeling so empty without Aerith by my side…..since she joined the game it just made me fall in love with the game that much more.
But then once she popped up from behind that wall I felt instant relief.
But the thing that really cemented my love for this game, and ultimately Aerith was the moment this song started playing.
I hope they really expand on Aerith and Cloud’s relationship in Part II, and if there is in fact going to be a date during the Gold Saucer I really hope this song plays on their date.
When I think of this song I immediately think of Cloud and Aerith together.
me too never played the original (well, I started yesterday the original actually) so I did the remake as a blind player and wow...it's incredible for many things and the new content they added in Midgar storyline (in the original I finished the midgar part). The moment between aerith and cloud during this scene is something in the original lacks💛

This is amazing! I must have had a similar feeling when playing through the game as I loved the music and felt as if I'd heard it before but couldn't be sure where from. Had to get online to find out what the track was and then when I got the name I found your cover, which is AWESOME! 😆😆😆

I work at an Amazon warehouse. Everyone i knew quit or were fired. Sometimes i listen to this, and remember all the smiles and laughters long ago. But it’s okay, everything ends eventually. ☺️ But… There were two girls, meh 😑 Not going to get all dramatic here. They were cool to hangout with. But it’s all on the past now. Will just focus on saving up money from here on.
