- We set ourselves a challenge - using a Tesla Model 3, could we road trip to each of the trio's homes, filming a 2021 update with each of them, all in one day? Starting early in the morning in the south of England, we set off, aiming to get some awesome for you guys from Clarkson, Hammond and May!

It's strange but seeing James trying to straighten a stuffed Giraffe's neck even when it's never going to be straight is the most James May thing ever. LOL
Well to me it looks like he is in the process of thinking up ways on how to fix it!
And whether it was worth the trouble in the first place...it wasn't.
I kept waiting for him to ask "Why has Hammond given me a flaccid giraffe?"

These three are like the Beatles...we got so used to seeing them do everything together as a trio for so many years that it's hard to fathom them having separate lives and not living together in some sort of commune. It seems odd and unnatural that they live so far away from each other....

It’s crazy how a 26 year old black Cuban (me) has had his entire personality molded by 3 white elderly British men. I grew up with no friends and only watched TG. I literally am a culmination of these 3 men. It’s astonishing and sad at the same time.

ill pass and stick with my 10 year old diesel Mondeo. at least i could have done that run with ease and NOT had to waste 40 mins getting go juice in the car. in fact, even at 80% capacity, i wouldnt have needed to add any 'go juice' at ALL on that distance!

James is a little more invested in drive tribe it seems. He constantly posts videos on here and food tribe. I think he's just a little more involved, so it's less of a hassle to get him for filming.

Electrics are great for short commutes, but almost useless for longer journeys.
And supposing you find one and they are all occupied?
The thing that always gets me when they show electric cars with the charging station is that it takes nearly an hour to charge, even if you can find a charging station. I like the idea of electric cars in theory, but as far as convenience goes, they're a long way from being viable in my opinion in a lot of situations and areas.

I was devastated when top gear ended. I find myself even more devastated now worrying that Gerald was never retrieved from that bin. If he was not recovered and brought back inside to be loved and cared for, that would indeed be a travesty.

Of all the many - Many - things I'm incredibly grateful to the guys for; I'm so, So grateful that the world of their partnership; the world of The Grand Tour rumbles on, even when new shows aren't being actively filmed and they're not all solely focused on production for the series.
It would be so easy for the guys to just live life and be so focused on other projects and interests, that they could drift away from each other and the show. They're all still focused on the series and their work for Amazon, producing several series a year, but the hyper-awareness of having to film an entire series, episode after episode like in years past has been replaced with the specials filmed; both individually and together as the team.
But Jezza, Hamster and Captain Slow have been together for so many years; with Andy and their crew, that their relationship can't be defined by work, or friendship (or network). The bond they've formed is lifelong and has a life of its own. They're as connected to each other, as they have become a thread in the fabric of all of our lives. For millions upon millions of people, around the world.
We've all lived a significant portion of our lives with them on our tv screens (and now on-line with FOODTRIBE and DRIVETRIBE), years having gone by where we've lived, laughed, learned and can mark moments in time by the time we spend with them. They're all so near and dear to us, that for all of their fame and who they are, the Kings of Amazon... they're just regular down-to-earth blokes, guys you could have a conversation with at a pub or if fans saw them while out filming.
Much love and all respect, Jeremy, Richard, James, Andy and all the members of the TG and TGT team that have spent so many years behind the scenes, bringing the trio into our lives. Our loyalty is not to whom you work for; but to You. All of you. Much love and respect.

A bit disappointing that the competition is only open to residents of the UK, though I suppose it's understandable given that doing such a contest internationally would be a hassle and cost them a fair bit more most likely. The downside to being an American but enjoying content creators based out of the UK, I suppose.
We get sooooo many more giveaways and shipping benefits being in the US that it's entirely fair and understandable that there are some UK exclusive ones. It's easy to forget how much easier access we have to many things than others when living in the largest, wealthiest country in the 'West'.
