  • This tutorial looks at how to ride toeside. It explains the correct posture and weight distribution. We cover how to switch stance, and how to engage your edge in order to ride crosswind or slightly upwind while in toeside stance. Common mistakes are also analysed to help you overcome them.

    Hey guys. Great video.
? Is it easier with a waist harness than a seat harness. I noticed that the waist harness twists a lot when you change to toeside

Great! Thanks for another great tutorial! I somehow have the impression that short after having switched to toeside, I’m pushing the kite to the edge of the window because I’m not twisting my body enough. But after having watched your tutorial I think that definitely not edging enough is a major reason that I’m loosing pressure in the kite. Somehow I’m compensating that by flying the kite up and down, but that still often results in sinking after few meters

This tutorial explains very well what I felt for years, and will hopefully help me to correct
      Thanks a lot!

I learned toeside through a carving heel to toeside, much easier than popping or sliding board around

I learnt how to kite surf with no lesson jump with no lesson ride to side with no lesson all from your videos

Great tutorial (as always). But then what ? As a follow up tutorial, I would love to get some tips on (stylishly) switching back to heel side, in particular popping from toeside to heelside. For example, this move is needed after a heelside to toeside carving transition.

K Shred why not carve to toeside then carve back to heel

@@jimmyjames1411 I sometimes do that on a down-winder. Linking turns a bit like slalom skiing. Great fun because board and kite are naturally set up for the next transition. But, usually, I really just want to ride back in the direction that I just came from. And, I think like everyone, I can ride faster for longer and point higher when riding heelside. Hence the desire to pop toeside to back to heel side

Is it just on my phone like that or the subtitles just cover up the most important part of the screen??? I can't see the board, super annoying....
