Fixing the Rangeline bed

  • One of the things most users complain about is the hardware for the Rangline rear bed. It's awkward to put up and down, and takes up an unnecessary amount of space. With a little effort, it turns out there is space to store it much more compactly with an easier way to lock it in place. Medium effort on this mod, requiring working with metal.

    Nice video. Why did you choose the Airstream Rangeline over the Winnebago Solis? I'm trying to decide between the two but I'm seeing that people are having a lot of issues with the Rangeline.

      I've got a video coming that talks about our decision process. Honestly most of the issues I've run into are not huge and we're really enjoying it. We rented a Solis before buying and like the Rangeline better.

      All of the Solis models have cassette toilets.
      This is a hard NO for me and my wife.
      I understand that cassette toilets are a cost saving for the manufacturer ... but I prefer the tank, issues and all. :)
