I really appreciated what the young medical student said “as medical staff it is our duty to help those in danger!” What a beautiful statement. As a nurse I had the privilege of working in surgery with anesthesia and it soon became my favorite. However, I had the misfortune of working with some doctors who had what we lovingly called a “God complex.” Also a few nurses who had a different level of education then me and felt they were more important because of it. To them, doctors and nurses alike, there’s only 1 God and you’re not Him. You went into medicine to save lives…at least I think you did because you don’t get rich doing this gig…try and remember that next time you think it’s ok to have a condescending attitude towards those who maybe don’t have your education and experience. You are there to help those in danger. No more, no less!!

On the video on the girl save a older man i got to crying because it happen to me too, but i failed he passed away at the hospital on hand's i keep him alive for 7 minutes but he did not make it still and that image nevers going away i just wish cude done more but i failed 😔😭 i just wish i cude save him 😭💔
You tried, that's the main thing. It takes courage to attempt resuscitation on someone. Not everyone can be saved, but you were willing to try. Be proud of that.

That CPR was really bad though. No checking for pulse, bad rhythm, bad form. He was agonally breathing (the gasping), so chances are he has a pulse the entire time and needs an airway and rescue breaths. I mean any CPR is better then no CPR, but check for a pulse before you crack ribs for no reason.
Been years since I took a CPR class, but seeing him breathing (gasping) while she's doing CPR made me wonder why she was doing it. Thank you for clarifying.
When you start to die you begin gasping like a fish taken out of the water. Usually when this starts happening you're already gone.

Im glad for good people. But setting up a phone to record yourself before you do something good, just to upload it to the internet for views, is sad. The other day I carried an old ladys bag out to her car at the gas station, and helped her walk without her walker. I didnt stop and pull out my phone and record it. It sends an entire different message when you see someone helping the homeless, vs a person with a camera crew "helping" the homeless. The real heros dont expect anything. Not even a thank you. They do it and carry on with their day. Its normal for some people to be helpful, its how we were raised. Doing it just for views and money, not honorable at all.

I cant remember if it was on mothers day or my moms birthday, but me,her and my brother were eating at a restaurant and when we went too pay for our meal the server told us that someone had already payed for our meal, my mom was thinking it was one of her coworkers that she saw in the restaurant at the time, but the co worker denied it, its really a good feeling when someone pays for hour meal out of nowhere
