- Learn about an updated technique I applied after getting inspiration from another CZcams video showing this original technique. This approach achieves the result of a dynamic date axis that scales to your filtered date range, but with less model additions than the original approach. But while still using Field Parameters and some clever DAX. Tune in to learn more!

Great technique, Reid! Thanks for sharing! 🙏
My pleasure!
So nice of you to give credit to Bas!
I enjoy following you both. And I also admire your clothing style btw
Thank you so much!
I always love your content. I tell my students to make sure to watch your channel because you have crazy cool techniques. I also like that you have made some videos subscriber only--I feel special. :)
Thank you! Haha, yeah CZcams added the release feature where you can set to "subscriber only" until a certain release date. It basically gives you early access, encourages me to record ahead of time, and adds value to people to throw a few dollars my way if they want the early access :)
You cracked the code! I was hoping that eventually there would be a way to do this. I have found it difficult referencing field parameters in DAX measures, which I think you and Nikola showed a few months ago, I don't remember the exact context though (maybe showing the selected field in a DAX text label..). Great work!
That trick of adding the field again saves a lot of modelling effort!
