- Jurassic World Evolution is an opportunity to combine two of my favorite things, theming and dinosaurs. In this playthrough we will build the greatest theme park in the entire world, with living biological attractions so astounding that they will drive kids out of their minds. And not just kids, EVERYONE. Welcome, to Jurassic World!
Today we travel back to the late 80's and tour the island that started it all, Isla Nublar. This island is based entirely on the descriptions of Isla Nublar in the original novel and not on any other promotional material such as illustrations, maps or brochures.

Seeing all those different raptors together is a beautiful sight
All my favorites
I know this is an old video and you might not see this. but they were an expected 238 animals but it actually had 292. The system was reading 238 because that's what they expected, and it made it faster to. Run they found the egg they rechecked it and there where 292 dinosaurs in the park.
Amazing job! I would love to see this in JWE2
Thanks, I will be converting over to JWE2 soon hopefully
@@pompkinkingplays1461 Unfortunately the “Bigger maps” promise wasn’t really true
@@RomanumChristum I think it was
@@RomanumChristum It was slightly true but you can still use mods
JWE2's Isla Nublar 1993 map is MUCH harder to get right.
You did an amazing job, except for a few inaccuracies, for example when the Rex threw Tim in the car, he landed in trees implying that there are trees growing downhill, but this hill seems quite clear. Also as they looked further down the road where Ed Regis died, I think it describes a densely thick jungle on either side of the road, also the velociraptor holding pen described a very small open space maybe less than 30 feet in front of the barrier before thick jungle covered it without any mention of them seeing a river or a pond. Obviously they had it but we shouldn’t be able to see it from our point of view.
Yes. You are correct about the T-rex paddock its hard to imagine the paddock completely from the depiction in the book. From my readings, I got the sense that the whole paddock was on a slope. They look down on the paddock towards the saurapod swamp on the paddock (with the paddock on the left) and then on the second pass they are looking UP at the rex, who is also on the left of the car.
That said, when building this I found I had to build a big mound from the jungle river in order to put the rex paddock on a slope downwards towards the sauropod swamp and be on the left of the road both out and back. My sense is, that in the book the whole island slopes downward towards the south, and I wanted to do that here, but even with the Expanded Terrain mod, I can only bring it up or down so far.
Good eye! and thanks for keeping me honest.
@@pompkinkingplays1461 no problem, I think what you’ve done is absolutely incredible! I don’t think I could have the patience for it, although I have tried a few times LOL to be honest I wish they would Do a DLC which would enable you to have bridges, waterfalls, and even the jungle River ride.
Especially considering in Jurassic World they had the kayaks going down The river.
@@wolftal1178 More attraction in general would be awesome. I'm planning to include some of what i couldn't in JWE in my Pure Imagination project using Planet Zoo, Planet Coaster and Prehistoric Kingdom when I get to the dinosaur node.
@@pompkinkingplays1461 that sounds awesome! To be honest I just wish they would allow the dinosaurs to breed, that way you could have predators released in their enclosure to help create a real Jurassic ecosystem.
I love the novel so much! I’m glad someone noticed it and built a park based on it seems like a lot of people ignored it in light of Jurassic world.
I've seen other novel parks but they usually base them off of the promotional material and posters, but they never seem to base them off of the actual descriptions in the book
I’m impressed. This is fun, and I love the details and intensity of the books VS the movies.
Wait, no juvenile Rex?
@@Razzlewolfflight I have the juvenile in the paddock, we just didn't see it on the tour
Thanks so much, I'm working on one for Site B from the book as well
This is so good. It's interesting to see places weren't how I pictured in my head in some locations.
I see you spared no expense! Good job!
Thanks, I am currently working on one for Site B as well!
Wow dis is amazing. Im a huge fan of the book and the see the park visually is awesome
Thanks! I'm really happy with the final results
Great effort, however i would have liked to see the maintenance roads which Nedry drive on trying to get to the dock (dock would have been a great addition too) and also the road where Ellie & Harding spotted the compys.
Also why is someone driving the explorer with the steering wheel, when the cars drive themselves? Lol
I actually did include the "dock" (it's actually an arrival point) and I explain in the video where Nedry probably went wrong and ended up in the Dilo paddock
Very well done! I made mine (without mods) based on the illustrations (two parks based of two different illustrations) of the map from the book.
I managed to include all dinosaurs on both and its not as crowded as I though it would be, I think the illustrations allow for a big enough sauropod swamp and ceratopsian area. I'm busy now with another one based of one of the illustrations of the map on Yosemite national park in JWE2.
Incase you didn't know, you can connect your aviary with a path, hatch some pteranodons and then disconnect again.
Voila!!
I saw the illustrations you're talking about when I was doing research for the build. The big complaint I have is the published material depicts the tour route going out and coming back on the same track, which logistically just doesn't work. Also, it doesn't really seem to explain the two T-Rex encounters. In both occasions the Rex paddock is on the left. If they came back of the same track it would be on the right the second time.
Oh man this is masterful park! Really enjoy the original novel! Gonna start JWE2 soon and hope they have more stuff like this
This is by far the best build for Jurassic Park in the Novel I've ever seen. Great work. This video here introduced me to your channel and I've watched some of the others, I may leave some comments on those ones too. I hope to see more park builds sometime from you for this game. Even the sequel as well once it's done in development or whenever you wish to play the sequel.
Thanks so much!
I'm ready for more novel accurate creations.... we could collaborate!
This is amazing subbed 👏
wow, watching the video was like reading the book great job. would like to see a jp3 park where its all run down. or make a horror park series
I actually have plans to do something similar with JWE2 content, keep an eye out for it ;)
Love the book and you really brought it to life. I applaud you 👏
Thanks so much!
Incredible job man!
Thanks!
good job my dude
Very cool!, liked and subbed.
Glad you liked it!
I hope jurassic world evolution 2 adds tunnels and bridges
Me too. It would be so much better
Amazing!
Thank you
Cool park
Thanks I appreciate it
Surprised to see that you don't have about 100, 000 subs. This us amazing
Thanks! I really appreciate it, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Right!
Nice job!...and you kinda sounded like Tom Hanks
Lol thanks! I haven't heard that on before, but I'll definitely take it!
Oh my god you do sound like Tom Hanks!!
Soo beautiful park 🤠🤠🤠
Thanks! I'm really happy with how it turned out
this video is amazing! You just got a subscriber
I'm glad you enjoyed it
Beautiful
Thanks
@@pompkinkingplays1461 great tour! Deserves more attention.
Have you thought about remaking this in JWE2? This looks great. One of my favorite novels for sure. What species did you use for the othnelia and microceratus? And did you place the “wild” Velociraptors or decide to leave them out?
I definitely have thought about remaking it in JWE2, but I am waiting for them to get all the updates and LCs released before I buy the game. Also, mechanically, my parks operate on the standard escape and animal behavior rules, so wild raptors would be a serious problem (much more so than the books) since their AI is coded to specifically attack humans and vehicles over goats or other dinosaurs.
I like this guy he has a cute personality
Thanks!
Yes he does.... ❤️
good job!
Thanks!
I love this build!! Such a great job!! Did you make, or do you have any plans to make the waterfall that Alan, Tim and Lex went over in the novel? Were you able to get a lodge set up in the aviary?
Were it possible to add waterfalls and other water features I would happily have included them, unfortunately the only way to do that with JWE is to use preexisting waterfalls like on Matenceros with the expanded islands mod, and Nublar 93 doesn't have any.
With the new update you can put in all the dinosaurs now!
I'm actually working on making content for JWE2 now! Should be coming soon
@@pompkinkingplays1461 will you publish the maps too? Id love to play them, what dlc do you have? I have all except the pre order thing and the camp cretacious
@@paleofolk I'd be happy to!
I THINK YOU SHOULD REMAKE THIS IN JWE2
underrated as FU-
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it
👍🦖🦕👍👍
You should do the lost world
I actually plan to once I start playing JWE2
Ok do it soon!
Mind if I ask which map is this, because this one looks massive!
Also I wish that they would have an update, where instead of having two different water sections when there are when there are terrain levels, they could incorporate waterfalls.
This is the Nublar 93 map, and I completely agree. the ability to do water features would be AWESOME
@@pompkinkingplays1461 ok, I guess I didn’t recognise it because you’ve changed the terrain so much. Which has been brilliantly done by the way. The fact is they don’t make big enough maps.
Is this a sandbox in the first jurassic world evalution game?
Not 2?
I hate how they removed the ingen white and blue on the arrival helicopter in JWE2
Well, have you ever heard of evolution square?
I'm subscribed to her channel
Is this a mod or can I access this stuff on the other islands like muerta and tacano
I have the enhanced terrain tools and mixed eras mods installed, as well as mods for a couple dinosaurs, specifically the hypsolophodons
That sucks I play on switch so I can't even use mods also what's your favorite dino mines the spino
@@thememelord4222 T-rex ;)
Question did you use mods
Yes, I have the expanded terrain tools mod, the mixed eras mod and I have several dino mods as well
1993???? Nope. The book is set in August 1989.
Correct, however the movie was made in 1993 and the map is called Nublar 93
"You did an amazing job" bullshit, the terrain is a fucking mess. Therefore it's awful.
