Any time a cartoon has an episode that revolves around characters who never appeared before, you can tell it's going to be a very special episode.
The pot heads name is stoney! 😆 Marvelous!
"Fred and Barney Love to Smoke!"-Flintstones Cigarette Ad
Winstons! Smokes Like a Cigarette Should
Don't forget that they also love Busch beer. Michael Jackson himself loved that, as he called it "Jesus juice" and abusing sleep aids.
ppl change when they become adults lol
Winston’s taste good like a (turns on the lighter to make noise) cigarette should
Say No to drugs kids, but Yes to Winston Cigarettes!
“I smoke rocks now, Fred! I smoke rocks!!!” -Wilma
R.I.P. Michael Jackson😇 (1958-2009)
🎵🎤🎵
Only that wasn't the real deal doing the voice. It was impersonator Kipp Lennon. He did the same thing on _The Simpsons_ episode "Stark Raving Dad" (well, as the singing voice) as a prank.
That's incorrect
Amen to that. We love and miss you MJ
Michael Jackson(also known as Michael Jackstone in the Flintstone Kids)was my favorite star
Me and my best friend Linda watched this on a Saturday morning while we smoked a joint 😂 we were blown away by Stoney with his red eyes and all!
🥴😆😆😆😆😆😆High-Larious!
LMFAO
Latoya Jackson sure knows how to sound remarkably like her famous brother Michael. Her singing is so spot-on that you couldn’t even tell the difference other than lyric changes to Beat It!
actually that was kipp Lennon singing
@@MatthewPrower Not according to the credits, it doesn’t.
michael jackson was 8 years old when the original flinstones debuted.
@@twist58 She also released a song called "Just Say No" it plays at 12:05
@@aappocky5553 That's correct. The song starting at 12:05 is Latoya Jackson. The "Beat It" parody is sung by Kipp Lennon.
This movie was the real series finale to "The Flintstone Kids". But with Frank Welker as Dino instead of Mel Blanc, due to the fact he had retired from voicing in 1988.
Not really a movie but ok
Its too bad specials such as this fell on death ears a generation ago. Today, this could be considered inappropriate.
This must be the most 80s thing I watched my whole life. The only way this could’ve been more 80s was if Mr T and Alf showed up rapping about saying no to drugs.
Stoney’s voice is Dana Hill 😆 She played Audrey in National Lampoon’s European Vacation! 😅 Thank you so much for uploading this!
Sounds like Nelson from "Simpsons."
Before she passed away, Dana Hill mainly contributed to Rugrats in her final years.
Dana Hill did a lot of voice work
She was also the voice of Max Goof in Goof Troop.
Now pot is practically legal. That being said, it’s not meant for kids.
Yep. It's ironic how much it's changed in over 30 years since this special aired. But for sure that pot is NOT for kids.
Yeah you have to be 21 to purchase and legalizes states so
U know you in trouble when your name is stoney
1980's commercials are an art style in their own right xD
This series should be on DVD 📀 📀
3:07 One of the best animations in the special. Stony's walk is surprisingly Disney-like when he's on the bad stuff.
During that time, Wang Film Productions started working with Disney on "DuckTales," so I'm betting one of the animators working on that show did Stony's bit there.
"There's nothing more helpless and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge."
Its hard to say no to drugs when everyone around you is living in the stone age lol
Am I the only one watching this high asf?
Hahahahaha... No.
@@thecianinator thanks for bringing me back a year later
I am! 😂
nah lol
I’m so glad u uploaded this! I have it recorded on vhs but recorded over some of it!(I was little and was learning I could record tv)
I remember this episode as a kid! Cartoons were so good back then.
True now they are junk
Thanks for placing this on youtube
I need the shit hes on he's on some good shit
You would think since its the STONEage, Wilma's new friend would be smoking rocks, amirite?
Right on RIP Nancy your message still lives on today
Bruh
There you go again
in 1994 there was an anti drug commercial in which drug dealers didn't take no for answer. this kid had to run home without the dealers seeing him. nancy didn't notice this.
Lol yeah ok
That hoe was the queen of Karens.
I think the cigarette line is a reference to when the Flintstones used to advertise for Winston.
Just say no!
I forgot this ever existed. Amazing!
I havent seen this since I was 9 this brings back a lot of memories
I used to rent videos of this show, even as a kid, Betty was gorgeous!
Fast forward to 37 years later and it's not only legal it's promoted by the same ppl who told you to say no SMH.
30 seconds into this video, Fred says "Let's roll a joint over at Stoney's house.".
Watching this during covid into 2022
I remember watching this at school in like 1st or 2nd grade
You too? I remember watching this in second grade as well, along with several others as well. Do you remember the one that I'm guessing Disney put out about a year or 2 later with the same concept featuring Winnie the Pooh, the Chipmunks, and Bugs Bunny among others?

Man how different cartoons used to be
I said no up until my mid 20's and I was so missed behaved all the time. Now I say yes and I'm a lot better off now.
Opening to An American Tail: The Mystery of The Night Monster 2000 VHS
An American Tail: The Mystery of the Night Monster (1999)
Michael Jackstone 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The Hardest Episode
Stoney??? Only a Flintstones show could be that on the nose lol.
6:24 I agree with Dino.
Looks like stoney gonna be Rockin behind bars from now on @ 22:01
Opening to The Fox and the Hound 2 2006 DVD
The Fox and the Hound 2 (2006)
The Flintstones celebs and athletes to makes a character mode
- Taylor Swrock (Taylor Swift)
- Rachael Rock (Rachael Ray)
- Stonehei Rocktani (Shohei Ohtani)
- LeBrock James (LeBron James)
4:27 "Cigarettes are fine"
Notice that the CGI Swirling Star logo at the end of this cartoon has the end music playing over it instead of the futuristic synthesized music.
i love this. idk til recently the cartoons we 60s kids grew up with had this come out. i love it
Goodnight, Mr. And Mrs. Reagan.
💐💐
how did wilma aquire the name scooter. that's a boy's nickname.
" Michael JackSTONE" 🙃
Nice. If only we could see the beginning though.
Where did dino get a soft pillow?
Cartoons such as these teach everyone to say no to drugs.
Of course, I decided not to do drugs long ago.
There should specials like this these days.
(25:18) Error: Why does Michael have five fingers on his right glove hand and four on his left?
Correct
I remember this airing on a Thursday night back in 1988 at 8 pm on ABC. I terribly miss cartoons from the 1980s and even the 90s with a PSA at the end. Back then, we had programs that steered kids away from crime and told them to stay away from drugs. Today, it's a complete 360 in the wrong direction. We need these days and times ⏲️ back more than ever!
They put it up against a show starring a guy who gave pills to women to get them into bed with him. Hilarious!
I remember this episode when I was a little girl.
That Hanna-Barbera CGI Swirling Star logo at the end? She's a dandy and very beautiful.
time for me to go to the garage and party
YABBA 👏 DABBA 👏 ADORBS 👏 AS EFF 👏 THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS 👏 YAWS 👏
Can't believe this is real
A few weeks ago I went hiking in the Colorado rockies. Me and my friends vaped some Cannabis when we got to the top of the mountain. It was glorious.
I think stoney might be on something more than just the weeds.
I just got the fact his name is Stoney and he’s a stoner 😂😂😂😂😂
It's kinda crazy to think that Fred has the same voice as Robin.
The only issue I had with this was the false advertising before it was released that heavily implied MJ would voice his animated counterpart.
Doggone Kipp Lennon.
You're right Fred. Lots of cool kids don't use drug. That having been said, there are precisely zero cool kids in "Just Say No" clubs. Because using drugs doesn't make you cool or not cool. But being a fucking narc? Very uncool...
JUST SAY NO
This needs to be passed down cause there's a lesson in learning about drugs that's definitely ruined life's or worse.
I remember this episode and when I was little I didn't get it but I learn it meant drugs, alcohol and smoking will be harmful to your health and its no worth it if you end up living a short life.
7:18 she only yells at her Future son in law lol
I'm watching this while smoking weed.
Is the full opening lost forever?
I always loved how big celebrities would encourage kids ti just say no to drugs then we later find out they weren't so inocente themselves and were only doing it for the money. Or found out it was used to help cover up a bigger scandal.
Just like how the "Just Say No" campaign of Nancy Reagan wouldn't be needed if her husband wasn't giving the green light to the CIA to smuggle the drugs in to secretly fund the Contras in Nicaragua.
Some say Michael Jackson tested positive for traces of blood in his cocaine system
@@user-oq8ur8eq6e Michael Jackson loved his milk.
Wilma looks so adorable in that rocking out 7:10 also I don't understand why they 3 toes this show instead of 5 toes?
I love how this special implies weed is worse than tobacco
I just can't believe LaToya Jackson voiced
This . She sounds just like Michael.
No, that was Kipp Lennon voicing the Michael Jackson parody. LaToya Jackson instead sang the song heard starting at 12:02.
That episode was a good message😀😃😄😉
4:10 to 4:12 Did anyone else notice that Wilma's eyes are different than they usually are?
Analog Memories you screw the Flintstone kids just say no special by not taping the beginning better fixed it!
Look how happy Wilma's mom was. 😂 This was before she married Fred. And sounds just like older Wilma.
am i in the wrong for wanting to smoke with stony? he reminds me of my high school self, when i was randomly offering my blunt to others
Willmas mom sounded like rosie on the Jetsons
Did Stonie got drugged out or got drunked?
To me he looks like he's on ether
Beat it by itself would of just been better by itself though
I don't get why they only have 3 toes 4:53
Michael Jackstone is the honor of the legendary Michael Jackson.
This came out just over 20 years before his passing.
Great cartoon growing up good message
1988 was my birth year.
Wasn’t this the last episode?
Wow. Wikipedia doesn't even list this episode. When did it air?
09-15-1988
I'm not sure what date this has aired on!
September 15, 1988
That’s my birth year.
When someone offers you drugs, say no because it is a good thing to do.
How to money for the movie tickets
That kid is doing more then just some weed
"This is the main advantage of ether: it makes you behave like the village drunkard in some early Irish novel... total loss of all basic motor skills: Blurred vision, no balance, numb tongue - severance of all connection between the body and the brain. Which is interesting, because the brain continues to function more or less normally... you can actually watch yourself behaving in the terrible way, but you can't control it."
- Hunter S. Thompson, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Whos the kid with the glasses

lol the 80s you gotta love and hate the era
In Latinoamérica never was transmited this special, I do not why, I always thoug that flinstones kids had a special movie, one question here: Shouldn't be Rocky Ratrock the principal villain here?, he is bad!, thanks for the vídeo!.
Crazy how Michael Jackson is on here
I'm so glad i was able to watch this before i started with those harmful marijuanas.
When id The Nostalgia Critic or The Cinema Snob gonna review this? Also, one of the goons talks like Big Macintosh.
