He was a little relieved when he saw that it was an actual experienced captain that did it and not some no body
Probably the only reason he laughed it of at the end.
But they let Jake drive!
@@intorainbowzOGyeah jake already knew how to drive the boat I believe he just got he’s license than, plus he had sig and egar with him
Yeah, dont blame him at first as it could have been some dumb drunk/high deckhands wanting to prank the capt or something but once he found out it was the hansons n the hillstrands he was chilling.
1 no ones more experienced then those guys n 2 they have the ability to make up for something going bad. Example if something bad happend then i bet the time bandit n northwestern wouldn't just pay for the repairs, theyd also be fishing for the cape caution as it was being repaired where deck hands or others that dont own thier boats couldnt do that.
@@intorainbowzOGyeah, jakes obviously a skilled fisherman n sig was right there on the boat literally talking him through everything while also keeping an eye on everything which u cant do from the wheelhouse.
I like how his whole tempo changed when he realized it was a guy he respected who moved it.
Right gotta love the recognition on that one
I know, right? Lol
@@Nachomansupreme a million dollar prank lol
@@gizmoapangalook121 I feel like it's cause he thought the hillstrands hid his boat and that's why he freaking out, and then he realized it was sig and his demeanor changed.
@@mfk12340 completely lol
They should have told him, "the harbor master said you was parked in a handicap zone and was goin to have your boat towed." Lol
They could have ramped up the absurdity by saying it was going to get clamped 😂
4:55 Wild Bills face change when he realizes his boats gone is the funniest thing I've seen on this show lmfao
Deadliest Catch is G.O.A.T show.
His face when he looks over his shoulder. He honestly looks like he's ready to kill.
God damn he was ready to send someone to jail 😂😂 thankfully it was sig 😂😂 he probably thought it was his crew messing with him or something and he was ready to crack a whip 😂
Man that's some undertaking! It's not like they're hidig his bicycle! Hilarious!
1:12 jake with some great advice roflmao
Man's got a fair point.
I loved growing up with this show. My buddies are this fun till this day.
Bills crew chained Sigs boat to the dock in return for this one.
Captain Wild Bill was thinking about grabbing his AR-15 and doing some Bering Sea Justice.
I've been looking for footage of this one. Glad to find it again
“Ahh we’re dead” 😂
Bill returned the prank BOSS
These guys have way to much fun 😂😂😂😂😂 when it comes to pranks 😅
That’s what I call a prank. Short and harmless
My favorite is still time bandit vs northwestern lights in the sky. Sig thought they were ufos lmao
Wild Bill " With luck there are no outside sources to change that plan."
weeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllllll.................i would not say that lol
Made me smile, thanks.
they should of had it set up to sail it by while the fireworks where going off...
however if just moving it was really that serious, that might be a crab too far.
A crab 🦀 too far
I saw this one had a good laugh at it but what bill done back twice as funny
The camera guy was smirking the whole time I bet
I love These guys 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Bill only kept his cool cause Sig was involved
Bill seems a little hostile never like him or how he treats his crew
Can you imagine going to your boat and it’s not there lol
This would have gone a lot differently if this was Wild Bill of the 80s/90s
Hell yeah fists and mullets would be flyin!!!!
Tell-tale sign that its a prank. John and Keith are next to one another in the same shot.
Maybe it's jus me but I'm not pranking any dude named Wild Bill, especially that one! Lol n to top it off, who thought it wouldn't have been a Hillstrand?! Lol
Great prank lol 😂
Love the Hansen laugh
I've missed edgar so much!
Those guys got some BAGONIAS movin of all ppls boat WILD BILLS BOAT? DAYUM 😳
How come Sig Hansen, Jake Anderson & the other guy (whomever it was) brought their hands up when they walked out of wherever it was they were hiding?...
Also, what was Sig Hansen saying around 7:30-7:42?
He said "truce truce,c'mon it was funny I could here you on the other side of the island” 😅😅😅
Wild Bill looks a LOT like General George Thomas (with longer hair).
And that is how ill got the Summer Bay
GOOD ONE...LOL..
Edgar Hansen😱Comeback ?
He said 2014
Spoiler: The Cape Caution got the Northwestern back by chaining them to the dock
What season and episode was this?
Imagine Wuld Bill loosing it..
What season and episode
You know, this brings up a good question. What, beside penalty of law, knowledge of how to operate one, and personnel requirements, really stops someone from stealing a boat right from the dock? XD Seems like they rode up, hopped on, started 'er, and just rode off.
Thats a good question, i was always under the impression they leave one or few guys behind in shifts, that or they have actual security choke points where they have keys off , a fens or ya know gate of sorts.
@@TheBarretNL stealing a big boat like this isnt like say a car where you just turn a key. 😏
even my tiny 35 feet boat have more than 10 things you do before, and right after you start the engine..
Say check the oil, cooling water and so on, spesially if the boat have been left alone a while..
but i guess they pulled it off becouse most crab boats have a simular upset and Sig and Edgar have many year experience.
its scripted
A) scripted or they really are that good of buddies B) Your not going very far or being very discreet in a 100’+ vessel haha
What the hell would you do with a boat of this size without immedietly getting caught?
Would do something similar to my buddy after he Would fall asleep. I would hide his bicycle in odd places. Put up a tree and on his roof. Oh yeah in his shower was the funniest.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
One crew member blew his hand off with fireworks.
That was a separate time. When the NW & TB shot fireworks at each other is when that happened.
@@logangx9319 Yeah that sounds smart.😆
@@airwolf3607 yeah I know right lmao he still won the lawsuit though because the firework was manufactured by the Time Bandit so they were responsible for it 😬
@@logangx9319 Really that's messed up. So he gets money for his stupidity also. 😆
@@airwolf3607 to counterweigh that the dude got compensation I went to school with a girl who blew half her hand off because she was holding a firework indoors 😐, she got no money because it was her own stupidity in her own house , she did get a really unproportiante fake finger for a while though
Doesn't it seem unwise to play pranks on a man named "Wild Bill?"
That's what makes it funny
Lmaoo
If this wasnt scripted it might be a tad entertaining. I Love the show, but all the drama is so cheesy an faked. I’d rather learn more about the waters an fishing..
I felt bad for Bill, he doesn't deserve to be pranked like that...
everyone deserves a good prank
Why? No harm done and he laughed in the end
Hey pranks like that are great for morale and you can get that Bill will get his revenge at some point. They are a time honored tradition on the Bering sea.
I haven't finished the video yet but one thing stands out that tells me this is all planned and scripted into the show is while "stealing" the boat, the captain is saying over and over how they are ready to head out soon as they get back. He says it over and over and then says " we are ready to go unless some outside source changes that plan" lol how convenient is that
Camera crew can set them up to speak about questions/topics, so its still possible he really dpesnt have a clue. As far as im concerned, that's a natural reaction by the captain
I thought the same thing, but when you realize that there are hours and hours of footage they never use, it doesn’t seem that crazy. I’m sure the camera crew was also aware of the prank and gave him leading questions while driving to the dock.
You have to remember that these guys operate on good luck as well as skill. I imagine Bill is used to things going wrong, like his crew going Awol, the parts he needs not being there, the boat not starting, etc etc etc. So he's repeating the line about being ready to go as a sort of prayer, but is still expecting something to go wrong 😂
@@peterclarke7240 that is a great response..didt look at it that way ..
not funny at all
