Somehow I'm not surprised that gray never realized that the upgrades weren't per gun, but cumulative
he meant spending the $ earned from each run, plus getting multiple guns instead of 1 per run.

he did know somewhere around halfway through he mentioning buying upgrades now instead of after first run with the new gun

Oh, definitely. This game in particular really reminds me of Toss the Turtle. Mainly because the way you kept your character going in that one, also involved bullets. :P

Gray's assumption about guns with chainsaws is quite spot on. It IS from gears of war, as far as I know. Also, I love that the gun that breaks the game is, if I'm not mistaken, a gun from Terraria.

Well yes, but actually no. It's the same name and function but the designs are nothing alike. The zapper gun, on the other hand, is the orange zapinator.
rainbow gun in terraria is not a rifle dressed as a unicorn, rather closer to a rainbow colored tube. and it fires a continuous rainbow beam, not single shot lasers.
the actual design has gotta be from somewhere specific, but couldnt find it exactly, closest i found was a tactical unicorn gun in battlefield 4.

A suggestion for the game maker. If you make the marker that comes up when the gun is off the screen spin to match the rotation of the gun, the player could keep firing in a controlled way even while the gun is off the screen. :)
Heck, since it's using 2D "sprites" you could just use the same draw routine that typically places that gun on the screen to draw it in the bubble. *shrugs* No additional overhead since you're already calculating those numbers even when the gun is off the screen. You're just drawing the gun in its current state in a different location. ;)
They could just have the camera follow the gun instead of stay on the ground. Problem solved.

Fun fact: the circumference of the earth is 40,075 km (equator) or 40,008 km (meridian). So the earth is a bit fat around the waist. The earth is a bit squished too. It's quite cool to know this.
