My favorite thing about nukes is when you turn them from the lethality to the propellant.

Sure is useful to convert those kinds of amounts of energy into thrust

@@kaptainbeans Project Orion was the first time this was tried, and now we have research on Casaba Howitzers and Nuclear EFP's and Munroe Effect shells that have been classified for the past 60 years. Makes you wonder about the results...

Nice vid, Beans! Building ships in this game is almost better than playing it) Appreciate the nukes test.
I'd like to comment a bit on the VVC-1000F - its absolutely my favorite among these, I see a lot of decisions I've come to myself.
First of all - its pricey, but affordable, you can buy it and play the campaign. I'm not sure you can get one of the others, or buy anything else if you can :)
Secondly - the airforce is super useful. Buying a carrier at the start costs a lot, and simply having a covered flight deck on the flagman allows you to slowly build up the planes squadron on the go. You dont really need a lot - even 1 plane is a great reconnaissance tool. And deeper in the game an additional carrier still helps a lot, since you get faster planes cooldown.
Thirdly - little to no armor is a good thing for a main ship. Its really heavy, and it wastes fuel. You are carriyng A LOT of weight on the base Sevastopol for basically, 1-2 final fights, or if lucky - for nothing. Armor doesnt help much vs strategic rockets, and the dogfight is not the place for a flagman.
Having half of this armor on some of the little ships would serve u much better. Tanking with a fuel tanks (pun intended) is actually, great, because they're cheap, and you got so much of them. They burn yes, but you know whats also cheap? The fire extinguishers.
And finally - the radars and rockets also should be placed somewhere else. They get destroyed with the faintest wind, and now you have to go to like, 2-3 different cities to buy them for a big sum, and spend a good 20-30-40 hours on the dock to simply fix what is really a minor damage to the ship. Radars are 100% better on a separate little tanker/shuttle, and the strategic rockets are also more flexible on the Yars/Triumph, since the enemy targets the direction where they came from. AA Sprint rockets definitely shoud be in quantity here, but the anti-ship Zenith are really better on nearly any other ship.
Ty for sharing the designs with us, I think all of them are great and love to watch u fly them!
P.S. I've seen a few asymmetrical designs on the web, with armor on one side, and soft bits with rockets on the other, do you think it has the potential to be useful, or a weird gimmick?

Thanks for the comment! About the ps thing, one-sided armour can be effective when your armoured side faces the enemy, that’s all I can say XD

@@kaptainbeans Thanks for review of my VVC model. Basically all VVC models i make are made for pure support. There are no need to make your main ship tanky (at least in last version of game) because you would waste too much time to repair it, you cannot loose it because it is flagship and it should be really big for crew and fuel.
Why i put fuel tanks on top? Because it was only free space i could find, also it would be very fast to dismantle them in dire need.
Why i made decks above main hull? Because, as you said, it is blast resistant, it is basically cheap and light armoring. PLUS - you can place a squadron of planes above it in mid-late game, would really help you in last stand.
Why it has no good PD? Because why should it have any? This is a flagships, it would ALWAYS be inside a task force. You can actually make couple of fast and maneuverable PD ships and basically dispatch them to intercept any missile you would encounter. Its much better to waste 20k with whole ship than 100k+fuel price. Plus dont forget about repairs!
Well, most of all - this ship was made more from an authentic standpoint than practical.
