Abortion should not be in the States hands. It should be a decision made by the person who is pregnant and her doctor. It is not a political issue, it's a medical issue. Should states get to decide if men can get a vasectomy?
I love what Bette Midler has suggested. Introduce legislations to make Viagra illegal, since if ever pregnancy is a gift from God, every limp 'unit' is also part of God's plan. Who are we to interfere in that.

Thinking people have said for years that overturning Roe would be the worst thing that could happen to Republicans. Because their base now expects them to deliver the rest of the deal, and they will be vocal about it in primaries. It won’t be “overturn Roe.” It will be “ban 100% of abortions in the US or we’ll vote in someone who will.”

As the Civil War progressed, it was determined that a people’s freedom could not be a “state’s issue.” It had to be a federal issue. (I.e. Lincoln’s quote from the Bible “a house divided cannot stand.”) A country is either a slave country or a free country.
