I bought a set for some friends that got married, just a few days back. I hope they like them just as much as you do. Buying myself and my son each a set, as soon as he gets back from deployment. And set cuz, you can never have too much good whisky on hand
I for one appreciate Dan for saving me the time and the whisky on how to fill the flask. Who knows how much whisky I would’ve wasted and the countless hours of experimenting. Thanks Dan, Sean catch up bro. #junkiesciene
I use raceface flat pedals. They have screws that stick out (for grip sake) Sometimes they absolutely destroy your shins it's not super uncommon but it hurts like a bitch
I hemmed and hawwed(that may and may not be spelled right) over buying these. I ended up buying the Small and Large leather, and I LOVE them. I use the small one for my better higher proof bourbons and the big boy is usually topped off with Bulleit bourbon. These flask are awesome. The leather is very nice. I may go back and buy another set but in silicon this time.
Are the flasks made in usa? Trying to find and buy american made products...was gonna buy Stanley but found they are now made in china, didnt realize the company got bought out and moved it china

Good job testing. However, I would've dropped it with different angles to ensure it's tough impacting the surface from any angle. Also, would like to see how it withstands a direct impact from something like a hammer...just for fun. Maybe a cherry bomb also. How does it perform as a target for small arms such as .22, .38. .45, etc. OK, I'm going a little nuts with tests. Bottom line -- you proved that thing is tough. Thanks.
@@BourbonJunkies hey I gotta give you some credit for always being disappointed in him (assuming this is Sean). You're like his dad who tries so hard to raise a good kid then everytime you give him a little bit of freedom he makes you regret it😂
The real way to fill a flask would be to get a Pyrex measuring device and fill it with the prescribed amount of alcohol and then pour that shit into the flask LOL
WELL! Mine broke. I was demonstrating it to a couple of friends and dropped it from waist height, it landed on its top and immediately shattered. WELL!! There goes THAT theory!! This is a real story, not made up!!
that was nice of sean to bring his bike over too for the video.
I need one of these flasks with the bourbon junkies logo on it
I fucking second that shit!
The greatest thing Ive seen since shamwow.. which you could also use, Dan...
I purchased the Dublé w/ a couple extra sleeves. They are a bit pricey and shipping is slow but they are well worth the wait.
Best part of the video is the wheelie in flip flops over the flats! Haha. Rad
I've got the two pack of leather wrapped, I really like them. Cheers! 🥃

Any concerns about cleaning the glass since you can’t remove the leather?
@@jreezy70 I'm only ever pouring high proof spirits into it, so if some of that gets on it then it's practically cleaning it. 😏
Cheers 🥃

It's been a few years. Is it still holding up? I just purchased one today.

Dude if they like whiskey they will love those flasks, they are awesome.
I was looking at these flasks on Amazon but the problem is neither hold enough but a few hours worth of drinking. But I do like them.
I gotta get one of those! Love those pouring techniques, especially the first attempt!

Great review! Love the luxurious look of the leather.
It's nice for sure
We have a saying around Springfield, if it's brown drink it down, if it's black send it back...
Great timing on this review guys! Was just about to order one
Well they are tough, and we have a discount code!
@@BourbonJunkies can you say Bonus!
I found that if you drink that black whiskey that was in your pack since last deer season, you will have a tummy ache. Just a little FYI. Cheers!
It makes me cry everytime Dan over fires the whiskey and spills all over
Great content
Nice review fellas
Hey guys-does the leather flask cover have any metal on it(snaps, etc.)?
It's stitched on, only metal is the cap
What I am most curious about is how Dan thrashed his right leg, mtn biking? That looks like it hurt.
Of course it was

Bourbon Junkies jeebus! and thats why i dont mtn bike. Some gnarly injuries. I’ll stick to hiking and ice hockey.
I almost bought these a while back, decided I wouldn't use them enough to justify the cost.
So, any chance of a discount code?
BourbonJunkies is the code. The 100mL flask is where it's at

Man I've been on you tube too long, at the opening I was hoping for a TEST ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTT battle yell, scotch test dummies style.
Kenny Tang exactly what I thought! Lol
You had me at sneaking through a metal detector!!!!
I mean not that I don't endorse their $15 beers

Are you filling that flask or....sanitizing it?
Dan, what mountain bike do you have? 5:03
I have a Salsa Timberjack XT 29". Absolutely love it!

Has the silicone gotta loose at all, or is it still snug? I’m thinking I’d opt for the leather if that silicone doesn’t stay tightly fit. Thx
it's still snug on there, and I've changed mine out with the green. No issues with it "stretching"

It is tough, I'm sure bullets of any caliber win though
Any chance of a Junkies discount code for these?
I thought it was on screen at some point, I'll have to look through again, I think it was just bourbon junkies or bjunkies at checkout.
Anyone know what the dry weight are for both sizes?
I do not, sorry.
Was also wondering how it would hold up to the Sierra.
Honestly don't think it would have broke it
Unless there was a small sharp pressure pint of a rock or something I think you could drive a semi over it!!
So what specific whiskey do you all (the readers) put in your flasks?
Bulleit bourbon in the big one and usually Booker's in the smaller one. These flask are very very nice.
Old Forester a lot of times
No Tours?
Yes, but how many Ragproper flasks will it take to stop a 50BMG??? @DemolitianRanch
My guess is 22
*Dan holds bottle 2 feet above the flask opening*
At that moment I knew this was gonna be a great video😂
That was when I knew it was going to be a mistake

Unbelievable
Is that the "Not ours" or "No tours" flask?
Hahahaha not ours
I totally read that as the No Tours flask at first. ha ha
Thumbs up despite the annoying guy on the left.
Is the lid attached? As much as anything, that had been the throw away for any flask I've ever had... Lost cap>flask in trash
It isn't attached to the body of the flask if that's what you mean. It does close very snug and I wouldn't worry about it randomly coming off.
Betting they filmed a few episodes before this. Lol
More than likely

You're not supposed to keep alcohol in a flask more than 3 days.
Well I drained that flask after 2 weeks lol
