I’m so glad they get along so nicely. The comedy of Amy getting jealous dried up to me in the role play. I think I enjoy it more when they just banter. To be fair I kinda blame Sega for not always growing Amy’s official character all the time. I mean she had her moments of independence with Sonic Boom, but when you don’t allow us to just play her more you give the impression you just want her to be only Sonics love interest and nothing more. I think she’s far more capable as a character than this universe gives credit.
You wanna know what would help her character development? Let's say in the climax of the next big Sonic game, she's tempted by the villain to give in, so she will live in a reality where Sonic and Amy have a family, but she overcomes the temptation because such a surrender would spit on the ideals of the one she holds most dear.
Couldn’t agree more. Personally I have a huge soft spot for Amy (I really like her in Sonic x) as a character and I want to see her further develop as well. I really really hope sonic rangers won’t be another just sonic and tails game. Amy and a lot of the characters deserve their own stories and levels again.

It’s funny that people actually think the weaker characters Amy and Tails could beat Shadow in a fight. He makes them eat dirt in .2 seconds if he’s going easy. Chaos Control isn’t his only ability either. Chaos Snap, Chaos Blast, Chaos Spear, and Chaos Rift also give Shadow a huge advantage even against characters like Sonic and Blaze.
