Need to get me a snowmobile before I move up north. But still working on shelter. Water, food, shelter, first aid/medications, means of defense, and a plan. What do you do with your waste waters? A willow or cotton wood will grow great next to an outhouse. To help with waste waters. Outhouses not vented right become ice palaces in winter. A remote solar powered heated toilet seat would be awesome.
Sounds like you’re headed in the right direction 👍 We have a grey water trench and a composting toilet, though the outhouse does get used in the summer, not sure I’d want to be outside in -20F 🤣
Living back aways with the potential for a lot of snow, a long snd wide track is definitely better. Is it also low-geared aka a work horse sled? We've hauled out a lot of logs with work sleds.
