Now you need to visit the National Monuments, National Historic Parks, National Wildlife Refuges, National Seashores, National Lakeshores.... great videos.
I’ll do my best.
Appreciated the "This is what I like" at the beginning to put it in context. Grand Tetons are my favourite park, but I apparently favour Coast and Woods more than you as Isle Royale and Acadia would both be in my personal top 10 (Though I've not been to AS or any AK parks outside of Denali).
I also had a pretty negative experience at Zion, due to crowds. Its not on my top 10. Hard to enjoy a place when you're getting shoved or someone's blaring music on what should be a peaceful hike.
Zion has definitely gotten more crowded.
I get the Zion critique. Arches was fun but my experience there was negative because of the ridiculous crowds.
Thank you for watching. Subscribe for more videos like this.
@nationalparkwild I’m visiting Samoa NP in may, do you have suggestions or advice for how to get between islands? I’m struggling to find enough information
@@tabbiperkins Quite frankly, I do not think you should try to travel between islands with the exception of boat passage to Aunu'u Island. Getting to Ofu is near impossible and there's a very low chance of you getting back to Tutuila at the time you want to if you do make it. However, Tutuila alone is worth the travel.
@@NationalParkWild do you know if it’s possible to fly to the non park islands from Pago airport?
Beautiful tour of Zion National Park, nice and interesting to see the beautiful streets there. It looks nice and friendly! I enjoyed the tour 😊👍👍 Im watching from Bangalore
Thank you for checking out this channel. I’m happy I could reach somebody living so far from these places and still connect with them.
OMG! An Amazing video ! How many parks I have been to and how many I haven’t yet ? I should set up a goal for it to see if I can make it all 😮❤
Great Ranking video! I really enjoyed watching!
My favorites (In my opinion): Denali, Kenai Fjords, Yellowstone, and Haleakala.
Other Parks I've Visited: Hawaii Volcanoes, Shenandoah, Sequoia, Kings Canyon, Olympic, Grand Teton, Glacier Bay, Acadia, and Everglades
Parks I'm going to this year: Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, Arches, Canyonlands, and Rocky Mountain
Parks I really wish to visit someday: Katmai, Lake Clark, Virgin Islands, Yosemite, and Channel Islands.
Are you planning to go to some more international National Parks now that you been to every U.S. one?
I don’t really have any set plans for new destinations. I’ll go wherever my travels take me.
Another great video. I liked how you explained your preferences in the beginning. I agree with all your comments about Denali & Yellowstone. For me I’d flip the order just because I have such fond memories of hiking with my sons in Denali. But I certainly understand why you have Yellowstone as #1
I’m happy you enjoyed the video and of course, those awesome parks.
First of all, Congrats on visiting your 63rd! I'm 61/63 currently, I haven't been to American Samoa or virgin islands yet.
My top 10 is
#1. Yellowstone
#2. Glacier
#3 Denali
#4 Gates of the arctic (an extremely underrated park IMO)
#5 Lake Clark
#6 Grand teton
#7 Katmai
#8 Wrangell-St Ellias
#9 Yosemite
#10 North Cascades
Great list! Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts.
love North Cascades in the Top 10. I'm 35/63 so far and it is undoubtedly in my top 5.
awesome dude
So many gorgeous parks! It's definitely hard to choose from all of them.
I spent last summer working up in Denali and it was incredible! My favorite park but Yellowstone seems awesome too
Denali is a phenomenal place.
*COMPLETELY* agree with you about Inner Canyon hikes being essential to fully appreciating the Grand Canyon. I'm an Arizonan who has always felt GCNP is the most overrated outdoor recreation experience in our state, but that's because I'd only ever meandered around the South Rim until last month, when I hiked into Bright Angel down to Plateau Point (looks like you did too). GCNP now undoubtedly my favorite of the 65 NPS units I've visited.
The Grand Canyon is a fantastic place.
For those who are physically able, it's definitely an amazing experience!
Thanks for sharing. It's obvious that you have a great love for nature and for our nation's National Parks. That it all started for you in Yellowstone is not surprising. It is surprising, though, that American Samoa is higher now on your list than Olympic.
Olympic would be #11, partially because Samoa was such a special experience. I will return to Olympic this year though, so things could change.
Can you do a full ranking. Since you live been to all national parks will you go to all national monuments. I’m currently working on all 50 state highpoints but I haven’t seen a ranking on which one is the best. You would be great at making a video on the sort of thing.
I can, but I got backlash at one of my larger rankings so I don’t plan to do it.
Great list, there are several state parks that could rival national parks that are worth a visit.
I really enjoy your videos. Inspired me to try to see all 63. I am at #25 right now. A video on how you got to all the Alaska parks would be amazing. All the research I've done is not clear. Understanding the logistics would be extremely helpful.
This is a very kind comment. I’ll consider that video idea.
Great video. Tough to argue with your list. Of the ones I have been to, Yosemite, Grand Teton, both Hawaii parks, top the list, but I was impressed with Everglades, great wildlife. Badlands was good too. Voyageur's was solid. Acadia is good.
There are just so many great parks.
Great list! I am working towards the same goal of visiting ALL of the National Parks. I am at about 40... Most of the remaining ones are the hardest to get to....
I wish you luck on your goal.
#1. Yellowstone national park Wyoming 16:08
#2. Denali national park Alaska 14:21
#3. Glacier national park Montana 12:28
#4. Lake Clark national park Alaska 10:58
#5. Katmai national park Alaska 9:34
#6. Yosemite national park California 7:57
#7. Big Bend national park Texas 5:44
#8. Zion national park Utah 4:20
#9. Grand Canyon national park Arizona 2:43
#10. American Samoa national park 1:08
Nice, another great video as always!!! You can be for sure now since you’ve been to all of them. Unfortunately, I can’t do a top 10 because I’ve only been to 7. More than likely I will be going to Mammoth Cave for my spring break at the beginning of March. What do you recommend that I see while I’m there?
I live 40 mins from Mammoth cave. My biggest pro tip would be that if you’re planning on doing a tour down in the cave, probably shoot for going on a week day and early in the morning or you might wind up on one with a bunch of squealing school children and you won’t be able to enjoy it as much.
Thanks for the advice. Thankfully we will be going during the middle of the week and hopefully it won’t be too crowded.
Thank you! I recommend doing the Green River Bluffs trail, taking the Green River ferry in the morning, and doing the Frozen Niagara tour if you can.
Hiking to the Colorado from the Rim in GC NP is a must do when visiting the park....
Absolutely.
I've been to two of these - Grand Canyon and Zion. I'm originally from Seattle, so I've been to North Cascades and Mt Rainier which is my favorite as of right now. I'm visiting Olympic this summer. I'm currently living in Georgia going to college which I will admit is an incredibly boring place to live as there is no scenery that matches where I'm from - so I really miss home. I recently also visited Hawai'i Volcanoes. My grandma lives on the big island, so I grew up visiting Hawai'i - so it was nice visiting it again. The big island is probably my favorite place on earth. It has everything you could imagine. It has something like 11 of the 13 biomes in the world. I will be visiting Costa Rica for spring break and am excited to see some international parks such as Arenal national park. Do you wish you could live on the west coast since you love the mountainous scenery or do you like living in Florida?
I enjoy living in Florida, because I don’t want to see Western scenery so often that I think less of it.
Bro dropping a banger be like:
My jaw dropped at your pictures of Alaska
Even photos don’t quite do it justice, the state is just gorgeous.
I am watching you from Russia. I like your video. Plz go on. I would like to visit these picturesque places
I really appreciate this comment. I’ll try to make some more stuff soon.
Of the 7 I’ve been to my favorite might be Guadalupe mountains (other contenders for my current favorite include) Big bend, Mesa verde, arches, canyons, Rocky Mountains and The Great smoky mountains,
All great parks.
I would of probably had Olympic somewhere in the top 10 because of all the diverse hiking.
Would you say Olympic is just outside your top 10?
Olympic is actually #11 for me.
I appreciate the Tinder profile at the beginning.
What is the music? I love it.

@@NationalParkWild Thanks :)
I heard some people say that Aconcagua & Denali are in the same continent apparently. Even the Spanish wiki page says they are for whatever reason.
Interesting. I’m certain they are not.
Road to Hana in Maui is probably the best scenic drive followed closed by going to the sun
That is a very nice one for sure, but not quite a favorite of mine.
I would imagine having cars behind you would be annoying. Luckily we didn't. If it weren't for my ex wife it would of been my favorite scenic road. Going to the sun, pacific coast hwy and A1A are my top 3. Id love to go to Alaska but it's too expensive and time consuming.
I might be wrong but I thought I remembered you saying you prefer deserts and mountains (which I took to mean the rocky snow-capped sort of mountains) to oceans and forests. So, what is it about American Samoa that made you rank it so highly?
American Samoa is the rare exception to my general preferences. The experience of going to a remote island and being immersed in a different culture in a place with unique scenery and recreation was just enough to overtake other great desert and mountain parks. There’s something about the park that, as I said in the video, made me lose track of time and feel fully immersed in the park. It’s hard to fully justify, but I definitely stand by it being in my top 10.
For someone who obsesses over green mountains and hiking, shocked you dont have cascades on here
I’ll be returning to North Cascades this year, so there’s a chance it will move up in the rankings.
We've been to all natl park except Alaska's. Glacier is my favorite then yellowstone, yosemite, zion, arches.
All great choices.
I am completely the opposite... My favorite parks are in the desert... Although I am from the High North Rockies which I see everyday... Its funny how we take the areas we live for granted no matter the beauty...
The grass is always greener I suppose.
So true! I'm from the Sonoran Desert, so it feels like no surprise that three of my personal Top 5 are forested: Isle Royale, Mt. Rainier, and Sequoia.
Have you considered going to a national park in the Canadian territories?
I’ve been to quite a few, including Banff and Jasper, but probably not enough to make a ranking.
@@NationalParkWild I don't know how difficult they are to get to, but it would be interesting to see a video about one of the national parks in northern Canada (Yukon, NT or Nunavut).
Half Dome!!!!
Why is it necessary to rank everything? It's like ranking your children or ranking all 33 of Baskin Robbins ice cream. I like them all.
It’s not necessary, but I find it fun.
Everyone needs salvation here are the words of salvation please forgive me jesus im a sinner come into my heart and save me from my sin I no that you died for me on calvary and I no that God raise you from the dead and you are alive and I thankyou for your salvation in Jesus holy name amen and its important to always ask for forgiveness every night
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.” - Psalm 19:1-4
