In case you're wondering, you need to strike the knife up the side of the bottle that has the seam. It's essentially the same as sabering champagne bottles, on a smaller bottle. But the seam is critical.
And an important detail with sabering bottles is that they should be very chilled

If you're going to do this you have to angle it properly so any shards fly away from the bottle not into it. Or alternatively just don't. There's cooler ways to open a bottle that are easier
