Maria Jose Fenton it’s because it’s really hard to sing it with the actual vowel sound that high so you change the sound to an a slightly and it makes it easier.

Omg It was sprong on me yesterday that I was going to an open mic night and I was going to sing I have 48 hrs to learn this song. I have learned the notes but I keep messing the verses up a bit
