- Today's episode of Reggae Gist Xtra is in Retrospect of The Song ‘Zimbabwe’ by Bob Marley which was performed over Forty years ago when Bob Marley and his band stepped onto the stage at Rufaro Stadium in Salisbury (now Harare) to help usher in Zimbabwe’s independence from British and local white minority rule. #shorts #shortsvideo #shortsvideoviral #reggaemusic #reels #youtubeshorts #youtube #jamaica #usa #bobmarley #petertosh #reggae #reggaetontiktok #shortmovie #africa #reelsinstagram #southafrica #zimbabwe #nigeria

Oh! Jah l love you Bob Marley Denise Braga Olinda Pernambuco ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🇧🇴
Foolishness. Trench Town Rock was recorded at Federal studio in 1971 with the then Upsetters (Family Man, Carli, Reggie Lewis), Wailers and Wailing Souls. That session also laid down Harbour Shark and a third track I can't remember now. So even if Trench Town Rock mocked him, it was while the Wailers were working with him that it was recorded. I was a schoolboy and was at the session, following which, with Bunny driving the little brown Escort, I was dropped at Victoria Park to catch a late bus home.
You don't sound like no Ras, mon. I do appreciate your content though it cyant compare to other reggae channels. ✌️❤️💛💚
Rest In Peace bob Marley
Very very ture who is revolutionary ?
Nobody perfect but Bob was pretty close Rastafari
Seriously Mugabe was the most controversial
Hail Ras Dennis,
I man appreciate the presentations. However, it would be better served if di I would be a bit more objective and less opinionated while sharing these pertinent (and well intended) material.
Give thanks. One love and guidance.
Many thanks
Mugabe is burning in hell
How do you know?
@@musamusashi I've been there
@@andreyviana504 and so have many of us. Judge as you like, but you can't take the place of God in His judgment, and only He decides who burns in hell and who doesn't.
He is in hell what him ah do dat is nonsense on di people of Zimbabwe
@@musamusashi you better respect me because im a mystic Man and I can destroy your life
How sad that Robert Mugabe (whom we black South Africans had admired as a freedom fighter) turned out, after liberation, to be a despot and dictator who ruined his country. Marley must have turned in his grave as he witnessed millions of Zimbabweans cross borders to escape the pain and poverty brought about my Mugabe's misrule.
Stop talkin kak ka not true you only know what they feed you
You obviously have a working class education, white folk are/ were a million times worse , Lancaster Gate deal !!!!! Look it up and the subsequent quiet miss treatment of Zimbabwe by white countries same as Haiti and Venezuela
@@tonycaribbian You can bury your head in the sand all you like. Mugabe was no democrat. Millions of black Zimbabweans who have fled their homeland say so. Besides, it's clear for all to see. Yes, he started as hero admired by many downtrodden people the world over, but he later turned out to be a despot. Not every good guerrilla makes good president.
@@thembadube9589 ah please Mugabe was a baby compared to white rule and white thoughts about brown folk
You're right. Mugabe was a criminal, Mandela, Amin and Mengstu too. People forget how evil they were
Mugabe was A leader, Mandela sold out SA, bob was a good musician
Them both genocide
