It is totally mind blowing to me that this guy died back in 1973, and there are T-Shirts, books and Posters of this guy that are STILL selling (and have shown no sign of slowing down either) 😲
It'll be blowing that in 3023 there will still be Bruce's paraphernalia circulating around the world only we won't be there to see that.

I have no doubt it is only a matter of time before they complete the film using top notch AI and cgi to bring back these actors. Right or wrong, it will happen eventually.
I find it weird that they got the line wrong on purpose for Ji-Han-Jae, Ji already recorded the actual line for himself in the warriors Documentary, They even state the real line in the unchanged footage while explaining the dialog.
Not only that but dans dialog was also recorded as well including Kareem’s in previous assemblies there was no need to replace them especially since their replacement don’t even match the characters appearances.
Not only that but the voice actor for Bruce just sounds extremely off, I get it’s not actually him but it’s entirely possible they could’ve used AI to bring his actual voice back, or just used a impressionist.
Other than that, they did a quite incredible job but I’d be willing to see a potential fan edit with a few changes using this new footage.
To be fair I prefer the line they used in this version, I actually forgot to mention that in the review.
Yeah I wouldve preferred if they'd transferred some of the audio/foley from the artport version- including Dan Inosantos real voice- maybe there were right issues? Or maybe they just didn't want to use it?
I've only seen Game of Death revisited and The final game of death and I thought the voice of Bruce was far better in Revisited but gee how good would it have been if they got that guy from Once Upon A Time in Hollywood to do the voice

One of my favorite Bruce Lee films.
I can't help but wonder, with technology like AI etc., that one day a version more closer to Bruce's vision will come out. It's the kind of project fans could help to make a reality.

The tone of the narrative was drab and at times boring, and personally, I thought that the voice acting for the final footage was bad, they should've never removed or replaced the original track or dubbed over Bruce's original dialog. They should've got Shannon in to voice the commentary.
Shannon is not talking about this box set for some reason, I wonder why
@@joshbaker1581 That's a bit of a bummer if there's some bad blood between them, pity because the video quality is remarkably outstanding for what they have in their possession and I think her voicing over her fathers unfinish project would've been a great tribute.
@rastanz yeah I have no idea why she's not promoting it, it's the most comprehensive presentation of her fathers films in history. Maybe the estate is a bit annoyed at the allusions to Bruce having a "rough" final weeks toward the end of the documentary? That's the only thing I can think of that would piss them off.
She's too busy promoting The Warrior & hyping the "twinjas", she can't be bothered with actual Bruce Lee content.

I think the only way to show the complete movie at this point is if they used deepfake tech to finish the unfilmed scenes of Bruce or just make an animated movie like the anime series "House of Lee".
What I want to know is we always just see the end with a fight scene if he was alive during the entirety how would the movie start what would the middle be and obviously we see the end
The final game of death edited footage in the last also suffers some bad editing and out of sync sound/voice sometimes.

I enjoyed the remastered game of death footage but the dub dialogue kinda ruined the experience for me.
But anything is better than the 78 version so I except it as is.
If anyone can share any info as of where and how did they just discover the " log scene footage" only recently?
It was discovered at an Italian film processing company- it was always there, no one had looked

What role did George Lazenby have in the movie was he a good or bad guy?
It's hard to tell. Maybe a wiseman on the upper floor or another companion.
@@robins5314 it was supposed to be either the American fighter who gets killed by Taky Kimura or "Hai Tien's Guru" whatever that's supposed to mean.
He was supposed to be a good guy who doesn't get killed off according to George in a documentary.

I don't agree with your suggestion of another movie remake and inserting extra footage being successful.. Bruce Lee fans only want to see Bruce, not other actors trying to complete a movie. They don't care about continuation or a complete story line because it would not of been how Bruce intended, as we can only guess to that. When I sat through the movie release of Game of Death in 1979 in the cinema, I remember wishing they had spared us all the newly added film and just shown us the unedited footage that Bruce had completed. I certainly did not care about a story line, I only cared about watching Bruce in action. So did the rest of the audience as everyone in the cinema stood up and cheered when the original footage finally came on after we were subject to 1 hour of insulting crap!

I almost couldn't get past the music (if you can call it that). That shrill, horror film style of eerie choir constantly playing was driving me insane, becasue not only was it completely out of place for the tone, but it almost drowned out the narration too.
I would seriously advise the director to do a new cut with something a bit warmer and more upbeat for the music. Just a jolly little Chinese style melody would be fine, and set at an appropriate volume with maybe a cut at 1-2K to make room for the narrators voice.
Bar a little choppy editing, the content itself was quite good

Eh. Only thing really good about it was that one fight with Robert wall. And the Bruce Lee footage, but even then, there’s already documentary’s that show more footage than that film.
ahi teneis la prueba de lo que dijeron bruce lee no lucho contra el primer guardian y esta en las dos fotos al principio del opening y si no se ha recuperado todavia las escenas de la pelea que son 18 minutos sino no mas recuerdo es porque son escenas eliminadas como son la del palo largo y los minutos iniciales del tercer piso y los nuevos territorios porque ahi que espera para recupera esa pelea y la del segundo guardian que yo tengo una foto contra el y existe voy a intentarla envia la foto contra el segundo guardian
Nunca se vieron fotos de ese segundo guardián, tampoco respondiste cuando te pregunté dónde viste el metraje original si nunca se emitió, todos conocemos la historia de "Game of death", saludos.

With today‘s deep fakes tech, it is possible to finish the movie
tbh I'd only want limited use of deepfake for Bruce just to smooth things out, I wouldn't want full fight sequences/scenes with him using deep fake, just a couple of shots here and there- the rest using traditional methods (doubles, lighting, camera angles)
I probably would use deepfake however for James Tien, Chieh Yuan and Hwang in Sik, although again probably go for analogue doubling methods as much as possible
@@joshbaker1581 It's totally possible that they maybe could recreate the outside fights by using the archive photos, or maybe in the near future they'll find that footage who knows? It's always possible to find the impossible.

GoD wasn't my favorite so I cut out everything but the scenes of bruce fighting in the togoda. The rest of the movie sucked!
