Thank you for this video. Very helpful during the lockdown period. My AC gave me trouble with water leakage and technician wasn’t able to come due to lockdown. I searched and found this video and another one. Followed the steps and was able to fix the issue😊. Learnt something new during lockdown
@@meghnakulkarni129 there must be some blockage in the water drain pipe. Clean it thoroughly so that blockage clears. If the blockage is not cleared then you will continue to see water leakage.
I watched a few of these videos because I had a leaking A/C only one month old. It didn't make sense. Then I figured that grandma had moved the outside hose where the condensed water goes out, and placed it only a few inches higher which was enough to create accumulation of water in the hose which prevented any more water to flow from the A/C out, so it just started leaking out of the inside unit. I put the hose back down and immediately a bunch of water poured out of it allowing a free flow. I turned on the A/C again and everything was fine. So, before you start unscrewing everything, check if there is a simple problem like some kind obstruction for the water to flow out where it should.
Sir one question sir in center of upside there is a clip fix to backside on ifb ac that why it not remove at last movement ist i have to push back the cover?
I purchased new AC and within 2 days this water leakage problem got.what should i do?this water leakage problem can be in new AC also???? Or this AC piece can be refurbished piece?
@@dwideepchandra6710 sir got....they were another type...thank you so much....was not able get any muck in pipe...but I think leakage was due to water tray with muck

@@meghnakulkarni129 before you proceed with repair Just unplug your AC from the switch board so that there's no electricity flowing. It'll be safe.

So did I. Mine had it's drain pipe put in a bucket and its mouth got submerged

Do you only need to poke a wire in the hole? i've seen people use vacuum cleaners tp suck or compressed air to blow in.
