el RUDO Well you could tell from this podcast alone, they've been best buds for a while and Colt even said that on his podcast most of the time he's always just joking around and having a good time with his guests.
I seen CM Punk in Indianapolis he ran past me before a show and at the time i didn't realize it was him. I just thought his tattoos look familiar..No one thinks there's wrestling star standing next to them waiting for the light to change so he could keep running. Maybe a few hours later i go back to the arena where the wrestlers come in before the show so i maybe get an autograph from some of the wwe stars..Here comes Punk running around the corner and he said let me finish my workout and ill be back and sign an autograph for everyone. Thats what he did he came back signed his autograph after yelling get out of the street to everyone and get back on the sidewalk or he's not signing anything lol..There might of been about 20 or 30 people there...He autographed everyone's stuff and was even nice enough to double check and make sure he didn't miss anyone. So please thank him again for me.

Punk saying “I know what the f’ I’m worth” has stuck with me ever since this podcast. The truth he shouts with his conviction will always be an inspiration and motivation to never be afraid to stand up for yourself.
The energy I take to work every day is a mix between “I know what the fuck I’m worth” and “fire me! I’m already fired!!”
I can honestly say that I kind of get where he is coming from. I know what it's like to have someone reject or shoot down my ideas. I get what it's like to think or believe something good and exciting will happen just to be let down or disapointed.

You can hear the anger and resentment in Punk's voice. Especially when he talks about the firing and how his voice slightly cracked, almost like he was trying to hold back tears. I firmly believe him and side with him regarding the situation within his time in the WWE.

It was nice to hear this from Punk. I was very bitter after he left because I thought he did quit and then went dark and was a prick to the fans. But hearing his side of the story has completely changed my view. Thanks for all the good times CM Punk and I wish you well in your new life (and I do hope one day you'll be back in the ring)

I only saw Punk in person once, actually I take that back twice both in the same location they were house shows. I don't get to see many because I'm always working and I'm always busy but I do manage to catch the shows on my DVR pretty often. They both took place in Topeka, KS near my hometown. The first had to be in 2010 when he was doing the straight edge society thing which I thought was so cool and alot of people thought it was garbage and I personally thought it was great, he makes a really great heel and all of that material was great for just doing it themselves without much support from the guys upstairs. The second time I saw him was 9/29/12 and this was after he picked up a lot of momentum and he had a match that night defending the Title against Big Show which I thought it was a great match, to me it was the greatest thing I had ever seen in person wrestling wise. Now mind you I'm not a bandwagon fan I have never seen ring of honor or any of the independent circuit stuff he did other than after watching his movie, but I picked up on Punk the day he debuted in ECW and said wow this guy is really cool he's gonna be great and I became a fan like right at that moment and never missed a televised match from that point. I've been a fan of many superstars from Hogan, Bret Hart, Roddy Piper, Sting, Goldberg, Steve Austin, The Rock, the list could go on. I really came to hate Triple H over the years and It has nothing to do with Punk's relationship, he just always rubbed me the wrong way with his personal attitude and status in the McMahon family showing through his in ring persona and it's even now more flamboyant that he is now no longer a wrestler so to speak. What really pissed me off was that with Punk having to put over all these guys that were returning part timers, Sting ended up putting Triple H over at Wrestlemania when Sting was the Star of the event and that was his moment and he should have owned it. What recognition does Triple H need? He's a thirteen time world champ and he's is the Bosses son in law who is swinging from his wife's tit. Anyway I think I would feel absolutely the same if I were in Punk's position, but I will say the show is certainly not the same without Punk and he has my full support as a fan in anything he does. Thank you for being my escape and a personal role model.
I really loved the straight edge society faction and that whole thing. I can personally relate to that because like cm punk, I am also straight edge. had some parts of the storyline been booked a little differently, it could've gone on longer. and props to punk for setting that idiot on twitter who clearly doesn't know the meaning of straight edge right.
WWE's front office went downhill after JR left Talent Relations and was replaced by Funk-man, Johnny Ace.

These two podcasts have left me completely torn. I'm a complete WWE fanboy and I will probably keep watching it for decades to come. But at the same point I completely believe everything Punk has said and think he is completely justified to be pissed off and bitter with the way he was treated.

I used to watch every Raw when Punk was around but I just can't get into it without him being on the show. WWE is so boring now, I just can't watch anymore. I grew up loving & watching the attitude era, an era that puts this era to shame. Punk was the one guy I would watch WWE for and now that he is gone WWE can fuck off.
UFC is a million times more entertaining than WWE will ever be, so I'm content watching that.

Attitude Era is completely overrated. The WRESTLING on the shows was inferior to today's product. If they allowed talent to get over on....their talent, than you would see characters as good if not better than in that era, because at the end of the day they are better athletes than most of the old roster. They need opportunity to break through, which to me was a big theme of the podcast, talent do everything they are told with the hope to break through to the top, and management has their top guys planned already. But to call the Attitude Era better, it's questionable. Funnier moments? Yes. Bigger characters that clicked? Yes. But the matches for me is where its at and you can't top the 10-20+ minute matches we get every week o Smackdown, Main Event, and NXT. Raw will never be the best show of the week, it's the BS show often, however the WWE IS awesome today, just change shows. I swear Smackdown and NXT are where it's at, less Bullshit.
makk3232 Are you kidding man? Smackdown hasn't been all that relevant since 2009. Most of the time it's just a show that recaps what happened on Raw. Y'know the brand that Smackdown was supposed to be against so it could be it's own separate show?
