Great Video....
waooo!!!thank you! For this!
Awesome video
Thanks!
Iâve been pressing thermoflex plus on the triblends often and never had an issue pressing it the same way as a regular %100 cotton shirt. My press doesnât have a bottom heating element as most of us here donât have that. All three of the shirts in this video I press with thermoflex plus at 320. I wear a lot of them to the gym to test them out. No issues
Incredibly helpful. Thanks so much!
We love hearing that!
Informative. But, man. THAT MUSIC IS KILLING IT, CUZ ITS TOO LOUD..its over powering the information that's being told.
I need to use in silicone nylon. It suits?
Nice
thanks!
What do you recommend for DRI-FIT material?
Does this work on ribbed things? x
Are we able to heat press on 87% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton, 13% spandex?
Will it work on twill fabric?
Would anyone be able to answer what temperature should pressing 100% organic cotton be? Should it be less than 300 degrees or above? Also how many seconds? Thanks for your time!
Do these temperatures and heat time apply to Siser Easyweed Stretch as well? (FYI - I'm press on Bella+Canvas shirts too)
Awesome! We didn't test on those specifically so can't say for sure. You're best off testing first!
Hi just watched the video and I am a newbie to t-shirt printing I am starting out with htv and Iâve been avoiding cotton đTâs as someone in another video said they donât adhere so well as polyester or poly cotton is this true? Did you have to pre treat your cotton Tâs with Sublimation coating at all??
Thank you! đ
When u got heat pressed when u do design a hole bunch of dots on your logo what that mean
Do you need to pre-wash???
hello, can transfer paper be used on 100% Microfibre polo tee?
Transfer paper that is run through a desktop inkjet printer usually have a wash rating of about 10 washes, then it will start to fade and crack, so it isnât recommended putting a $0.20 print on a $20.00 shirt. There are screen printed transfers on paper that can be used quite successfully, as well as the HTV and full color digital prints, all that have was ratings in excess of 50, that wont fade, crack, or peel off.
What heat press settings do you recommend to sublimate on the Bella Flowy collection with poly/viscose so it doesn't scorch?
I'm trying 280, it scorched at 300 and 350.
I need a little help understanding the last heating technique lower being 300 and top 250
Hopefully our blog post can help clarify. Check it out here: blog.bellacanvas.com/how-to-heat-press-fabric/
You could also reach out to Stahls directly!
BELLA CANVAS what if you donât have a heat press that presses from the bottom? Have we seen success pressing Bella Canvas Tri blends with top only heat? There should be a note about this since your more traditional heat press is heat at the top. I am having a hard time doing tri blends, and I do sublimation which makes it worse. But I would love to continue using BC.
Hi guys. Where can I purchase tri-blend fabric for my clothing business.
Hello! We only sell wholesale, so if you have a resale license, you can create an account to order directly through us (link in the description above) or check out one of our distributors: www.bellacanvas.com/distributor-locator
What about temps for 100% poly and sublimation?
Hey DeeDee! For 100% polyester, you want to use a low temperature material so you donât scorch the shirt (heat press box). Both Stahlsâ and Stahlsâ Transfer Express carry low temperature. At Stahlsâ we use our Premium Plus, Eco-Film, and Sport Film (applies at 280-300 degrees), for an ink transfer, Transfer Express has the AquaTru, ElastiPrint, and Stretch Litho (applies 275-300 degrees). Once you start getting hotter than 300 degrees), you risk the scorch box.
If you donât have a low temperature HTV, one trick is to apply it/ tack down at 275 degrees for about 5 seconds, then, turn up your heat press to the recommended temperature, flip the shirt inside/out, and apply per the manufacturers settings. Youâll probably scorch the shirt, but the scorch will be on the inside where no one will see it (unless theyâre worn by high school kids, then all bets are offâŠ)
As far as sublimation, most application for sublimation is in the 400 degree range for 45-60 seconds on a garment. If you want to heat press on sublimation after itâs sublimated, you have to take some big precautions, as you may experience dye migration. To avoid that, you will need to use materials that have dye blockers in them.
What was his pressure number set at?
The Stahlsâ heat presses have pressure reading from 1-9, which are a multiplicity of 10, ie; a #5 is 50psi pressure. Some heat presses will show the psi reading. That pressure will change based on the material being used, and most material suppliers, whether its HTV, ink, or paper transfers will tell you what time, temperature and pressure are needed for success.
How can we apply no sew process on nylon material?
Unfortunately, no. Currently, the no-sew twill has and adhesive that will not adhere to nylon. Some of the no-sew twill also needs a lot of heat (upwards of 350, depending on which twill) which could potentially melt nylon.
Will itwork on denim ??
Yes it will. People have done some amazing designs on blue jeans with Stahl's Hologram material using it as faux rhinestones, as well as a lot of their Glitter Flake.
Can you put htv on rayon????
Hi Jesus! Our Triblends, which is one of the fabrics John from Stahls used in this video, contains rayon! Our Triblends are also able to take HTV! We have an online fabric guide to help provide you with tips and tricks for screen printing and we suggest the following HTV printing technique for our Triblends - "Heat Transfer Vinyl Tips: 280 degrees, 8-10 seconds, medium pressure, Stahls' CAD-CUT Premium Plus." Here is the direct link for your convenience: www.bellacanvas.com/fabric-guide
Where can I get these type of transfers made?
You can get them through Stahls!
@@BELLACANVASOFFICIAL Thank you very much! I'll be using Bella for sure, too!
which one is higher quality? also how long does the graphic last ???
Hi Nedjma! There is no real comparison for which one is better quality overall, since each heat transfer is chosen based on the fabrication of the garment to reach best quality for each. They also explained which settings/material to use on each fabrication in order to achieve high quality prints! :)
BELLA CANVAS oh right thank you đ
Was this sublimation??? Some1 pleeeaaase answer :/ thanks so much!!
nope! this was done with a heat press.
BELLA CANVAS you can do sublimation with a heat press
@@BELLACANVASOFFICIAL can we get someone more knowledgeable to answer youtube questions. thank you.
Yes you can sublimate on a heat press but this was not that process. This was vinyl transfer, where vinyl is applied to the surface of the garment. Sublimation is usually done on 100% poly garments and the dye from the paper, when pressed into the fabric with heat, dyes the actual poly fabric not a surface film.
@@mikem9821 you literally didn't answer anything the original poster asked.
video is great except bkgd music is mixed too loud and has too many vocals
Help! I am an absolute newbie trying to follow thru on a donation Christmas wish.
Long story short, I donated printed $250 in silent auction services for a silent auction for a friend who lost his wife in a mail carrier car accident.
Another friend of both families who bought the auction item wants me to print the names of her grandchildren on 21 sleeping bags in time for Christmas.
My dilemma is inexperience with my vivo home heat press for this material using Cricut strong bond sport flex cricut material with my Cricut 3.
Any help from any elves would be greatly appreciated!!
I also have a Glowforge Pro but I'm thinking layering a corner might be more work than it's worth.
Thx!!!
why do so many you tubers insist on using annoying background music?!
Who picked that terrible music in the background this would have been a wonderful video without that broken record in repeat mode
