I have just one question: should washers' internal angle face the band rings or the keys? I've assembled mine towards the band but saw a review claiming the most tight angle (internal) should be facing the keys. What's the right mode?

What if I have different kinds of keys, that have plastic parts for example from a bike lock etc.? Would the product still work as expected?

Hi, sorry for the delayed response. The direction that the wave washer faces does not matter. It can be inwards or outwards!
