I’ve recently been ill in hospital with covid. I’ve been watching your videos and they’ve brought me such comfort. Father God is truly wonderful beyond our understanding.

This is the turning point in prayer, when these truths are finally grasped.

I found this playlist because of the Bible App. I am doing the 21 Days of Prayer Plan and searched for the author on CZcams hoping to find more material. I am so glad I did. Thanks for making this content available to everyone. May God continue to bless you, your family and your ministry.

I had to google "piste"... the basic definition is "a ski run of compacted snow". To be "off-piste" is to NOT take the usual beaten path.

Jesus commanded. He didn’t always pray. Also, all prayer is always answered. Just maybe not the answers you want. It could be an immediate no. However I think if you continue praying and praying you might move the Father and He might allow it to come to pass.
I love your videos by the way! They have been very helpful.

Hi there, would like to ask if you could explain a bit more on the statement "the crossroads of all human experiences is a God who suffers?" Thank you.

      In context, he said:
"I think this is where it is so profoundly meaningful for Christians
      06:45
that we believe in a God who came and suffered with us on the cross. In fact, I think if
      06:52
it wasn't for the cross, I don't think any of the rest of the Christian message would
      06:56
make any sense at all. It's this truth, that at the crossroads of all human experience,
      07:03
is a God who suffers. There is such empathy and wisdom in that story."

To say that Jesus prayed unbiblically is untrue and misrepresentation of Jesus and furthermore a complete misunderstanding of that word; Everything Jesus did was in accordance with His word, Jesus is perfect and sinless in every way. May He be glorified!

I attended Pete's church for a while and I have a feel for Pete's heart on this.
I agree with what you are saying about Jesus being perfect and sinless, but the point that Pete was making is that in Jesus' moment of anguish in Gethsemane, Jesus was asking his Father if there was any other way, as the pain was so great for Him (therefore Jesus appeared to be praying unbiblically, by seeking a way out). However, Jesus knew the scriptures, and knew what was written, and therefore knew in his heart what He had to do. The rest is history, and He certainly is glorified.
