I would be more than a little peeved of this rain if I was only in London for a week and this was top of my list. It really is a miserable building etc in the pouring rain. !!!!
I agree, there were a couple of disrespectful groups laughing at the guards the other day. I was really wondering where the cops were as this smart Alec stuff was going on. Finally I saw that the coppers hadn’t gone inside as I thought, they were sanding around having a chat. Even then they didn’t think to look around the courtyard to see if any poorly behaved tourists were hanging around.
I used to care for a couple of horses One shared rain and stayed in the field shelter. The other loved the rain and was a pain to get back into her stall even when you put her feed bin under her nose. No rain and that nutcase would lead me into her stall.
The only decent copper among those mod officers is the Lady officer. The other ones are as useful as a chocolate fireguard. ❤
Not sure what the firestarter guy was all bout, but he had a marvelous theater voice.

None of the tourists work or have any thing else to do?
You do seem to be having the most appalling weather in the middle of London! We have not had nearly as much rain in the suburbs😢
Don’t these people ever go home and leave these guards and horses alone for a while they have a job to do give them some space

When the guards are yelling orders, are they speaking another language - like maybe Old English or Latin?
Just army version of English. Troops understand it very easily. 😅
