    I'm a recent graduate of a Criminal Justice B.S.
    It's tough to find a career outside of policing; it's nearly impossible actually.
    The reason for the struggle in finding employment is that many companies, private agencies, even federal agencies demand an active TSC (Top Secret Clearance).

      You're right. Try to start with correction department. They don't require TSC

      The only problem with that is there's no growth-transition. I need to be accepted into a branch of work that provides a TSC (upon after a conditional offer of employment). It's not easy, but I remain determined in my search.

      I understand, you can always get out of it. It also might be useful as a reference to build work history until you find another career. BTW, some private security companies also sponser TSC . Try them. Good luck.

    For anyone who stumbled here PLEASE believe me when I say this NEVER become a cop. I talk more about this on my page but I got a degree and tried it and it is the worst. Take it from someone who has been there and done that
